Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 17 May 2023, 06:01

Good morning.

Hot and sunny. 8-)

After a swim I'm getting ready to walk into town to get a few bits then meet a couple of friends for coffee and a pitufo. :D

Back home to renew my UK senior citizen rail card.
I can't believe that's the year up and boy did I bag some brilliant bargains on rail travel in that year. :cute:

Footy tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

A little cloudy this morning and a little cool too.

We were serenaded all night by sheep bells  They're having a lovely munch on the grass in the field next door

Up and out early this morning. I need to be back close to the bar ;) I'm expecting my shrubs to be delivered today and they will ring me and I have to leg it down to the bar, otherwise they disappear off.

Looking forward to the footie tonight.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning you two and everyone else :D

Ally have a lovely day. The discount cards really work out well when you do a fair amount of travel and have the luxury of time, ie not having to travel before a certain time in the morning.
Jan, good luck with the shrubs, hope you get to the bar before they 'walk' off :D Say hi to everyone

Working from home today - yay! Been to Sainsbury's to get groceries; have friends (vegan) coming for dinner this evening so making a vegan pad thai - merging two different recipes so hopes it works   . Will also aim to give the lawns another shorter mow today; garden waste is being collected tomorrow. And need to tidy / clean before guests arrive.

It's a glorious sunny morning here, hope it stays like that!

have a lovely day all x

Morning all, sun and cloud here, and much warmer. Mind you, Edward has hauled the terrace table and chairs down from the attic, so the weather will probably change  I had a successful day yesterday, good chat with the doc about statins and took my first one last night. I collected my shoes and had a nice potter around the shopping centre, buying two tops, and a shirt and socks for Edward. M&S had 3 for 2 on a lot of children's clothes so I got a few tee shirts and shorts for Michael and Kellie. I have various things to do today and Edward has just started making a cake for my sister’s birthday which is tomorrow, we are going out for a meal locally with Michael, Kellie and Miss Osc.

Saundra, I remember when Michael broke his arm, the doctor said that children mostly do their own physio by their general normal actions, once they feel more confident about moving the arm.

Good afternoon everybody,

After going for the paper and having breakfast I went to Lidl to get food for tomorrow evening. I only had yoghurt for my breakfast as I have been on a very restricted diet.
Then went to the bank to pay a bill. Wan't quite sure how to do it on line. Have also been to the hemist to pick up a pescription.

Will just be pootling this afternoon.
Take my first medicine this evening . Have to stay near the toilet. This is to empty my bowel. Same thing tomorrow morning befote I go to the hospital,

Have a good day everybody.

Cruiser, I had a similar treatment for my colonoscopy and boy, do you need to be near a toilet... there is no warning, it just happens! And just to let you know, it still lingers after the inspection. Be aware!

Afternoon everyone.
Not a bad day here, we've had quite a lot of sun.
We have been out to take Jimmy's betting slip to be checked (no luck) and go to Pontefract to the bank, to pick up a prescription and do various bits of shopping.
I've got a beef stew in the oven and MrsC is pulling weeds up outside.
Good news about Scarlette Saundra!
Enjoy the rest of the day people.
