Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 13 May 2023, 05:41

Good morning.

Warm, sunny and for once there is a breeze. Joy!

I'll have a swim mid morning then chill for the day.

David's coming round tonight for Eurovision. The pair of us are giddy with excitement. :cute:

Bunting is going up, the coffee table is being moved so we have a dance floor and bring it on!

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Sunny, but with a chilly breeze. And it's just a breeze, not a hooley, for a change ;)

Done all the new plant watering, wearing a cardi  I'll feed all the plants later, ready for watering tomorrow. Then it's attack the lavender again. There is just so much of it and some of it is as tall as me

Down to the bar this afternoon No idea who will be there, with Jan and Joaquim having a leaving do, it's his last week-end at the hotel. Chris and Lucy will be in France today and there is the feria at Garvao, so most people will be there.

We'll be watching the eurovision too :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a dull one and quite chilly.

John and Joe are at the local Park Run with a couple of neighbours. Football for me and Joe this afternoon, I’m keeping my eye on the Highways England app to see how the M6 is running before we decide when to set off. With us playing Wolves and also Eurovision being in the north west there could be a lot of extra traffic heading in that direction due to the train strike. It’s forecast to be 21° and bright sunshine in Manchester so I’ve had to dig out my prescription sunglasses

I’ll have the TV to myself tonight so I’m going to binge watch the new series of Queer Eye on Netflix.

Have a good day all

Morning all, it’s foggy here, we can barely see the harbour and the island off the harbour has disappeared! It was supposed to be a lovely day except for fog here on the east coast, perhaps it will clear later. Edward is busy making a cake for us to have during the Eurovision. We were always a big Eurovision family and Miss Osc has passed it on to Kellie who has all the current songs on Spotify and was discussing them with us the other day. Michael just messaged to say he will be watching too and telling me his favourites.

We had a lovely anniversary yesterday, Miss Osc and Kellie called with flowers and cards, Michael was away on his school trip. At dancing last night, our host played The Anniversary Waltz for us and someone videoed us dancing, it was nice to have that as a memory. I won’t put it on FB as there might be people on it who wouldn’t like that but it’s on our Photo board. Nothing major planned for the day, I might do some ironing while Edward is watching the match, so I don’t hear his sweary commentary!

MrsC will drop some stuff off for her Uncle Jim this afternoon. it's getting to the point where he is going to need care.
I need to pay a couple of bills.
might watch Leeds vs Newcastle but then again, maybe best not.
it was supposed to be nice here too today; midweek they were forcasting 19c. It's 9c!
Have a good day everyone.
