it’s been gorgeous and I’ve been sitting at Hope Cafe (outside) watching Tom having a game of golf. We’ve been to Grasmere this morning, first time the car’s moved since we got here, had a walk round, I got a pretty silver bangle in Red Gecko and then we saved a little lamb on our way back to the car! Poor little thing had got under the fence and couldn’t find its way back, mummy sheep was shouting and it was shouting back, it ran away from us so it took a third party with a dog to ‘corner’ it, oh it was frightened bless it!! I was so emotional when it finally went back under the fence to mum!!

Tom’s brother John has been sent home from hospital today but I don’t think it’s because he’s better, more like he’s deteriorating whilst in there due to his desperation to be home. His son Steven has taken the decision to get him home in the hope it may lift his spirits but what will be will be. Tom’s very worried of course, but what can we do ? I’ve said we’ll return home if he wants to but he says he doesn’t.

Ah poor little thing, so glad it was ok xx

I hope things improve for Tom's brother, it's always more comfortable to be at home, if possible xx
