Mm yes you can in certain circumstances
But Scarlett surgeon advice not to in case her arms swell in high temperature gets water or sand in cast plus that is why they cancelled it plus she might need another operation

Saundra, did they not have travel insurance? To be honest I'm not sure Jet2 (or any airline for that matter) would have to pay out if the client cancelled the holiday themselves (for whatever reason it may be). It all depends on how the booking was made and what the cancellation policy was / is?

Yes they have travel insurance ria they cancelled the holiday on the advice of the surgeon because of Scarlett one going treatment as here arm is in plaster and a further operation if a surgeon advised you not To go you don't in our opinion

I'd also cancel if the surgeon advised Saundra; but I think they need to claim from their travel insurance and not the airline. The insurance will pay out x

Saundra, as I said earlier it is a minefield.

J&S are going to have to do some quick research with the likes of their travel insurers, ABTA and Which? and might need the help of Citizens Advice. They will definitely need something from the surgeon. They need to act, and quickly!

Surely the surgeon will give Jonathan a letter to show to the insurance company to back up the claim?
