It sounds good saying that I've bought Concorde tickets for my Dad's birthday - if only it was still flying, eh?
It reminds me of when our friend Lee, Tom's Godfather, paid for Tom to go to New York - he said he'd get a lot out of telling everyone he'd paid for his Godson's flight to NY. I probably should add that Tom was only a baby at the time and his flight cost a whopping £15
