Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 23 Feb 2023, 06:17

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 20°. 8-)

A walk first then Conor's coming over around 11 to take us for a walk  to the poligino where he swears they do the best bacon camperos and coffee.

Back home and I really must wrap sis's presents.

I also need to book a flight to Glasgow!
Guns n Roses have rescheduled their cancelled Glasgow gig from July last year to June 27.
I kept hold of my tickets and had an email from Ticketmaster on Tuesday confirming I can use them for Belahouston Park. :cute:

This will make four return flights before the end of August.
Sis thinks I'm a tax exile.

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny but cool and this is the last dry day for a few days, apparently

Jet-setter methinks Ally

Off to see Dora this morning, to get my tootsies done. Will pop into Aldi and grab some more curry sauces   and a loaf of their very nice crusty bread for tonight and tomorrow. Back to make a curry and then back into Ourique later this afternoon, for our hour's conversation.

I was told that I should move up a couple of classes but that would mean both of us going in at different times, so I'll stick and read up a bit more, and also help Grumpy. Being deafo, poor man struggles.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

The sun is out with blue sky. There was frost on the car when i went for the paper.
I try to be a tax exile but HMRC seem to have put a marker on my file and track my movements.
Managed to make pancakes last night. Did three. Didn't toss them too highsothey did not stick to the ceiling.
Put lots of fresh lemon juice on them. Delicious. Must try them again as I have lots of flour some eggs and lemons left.

Will be doing housework today.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s sunny but colder than it has been lately.

Bill’s had his walk and is now relaxing in a sunny spot on the sofa. There’s washing on the line and I’m waiting for a delivery. Tom may be phoning this morning too, to follow up a call from yesterday to check when I’ll be home. He bought a new car a couple of weeks ago but Renault didn’t have the front and rear cameras available which he wanted fitting so rather than him taking it back to the dealership in Stoke someone is coming to fit them here, so he should be getting a call this morning to tell him when that’ll be (they said either today or tomorrow).

Joe’s in work and we’re off to Manchester when he gets home. John will have a very rare night of having the house to himself (Tom’s usually home) so it’ll no doubt be a night of Wheeler Dealers on TV for him

I need to do the Tesco order too, and call my Dad to see what he wants.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all, it’s lovely and sunny here but cold - no frost but there has been frost elsewhere in the country. Usual Thursday - dance practice this morning then back to collect Kellie from school, Michael won’t be here as he has a history exam tomorrow and wants to study. I need to drop stuff into the cleaners, and before we go out I’ll walk down to make a hairdresser appointment for next week. Usual tidying around before we go.

Hello all and good morning

cold here and windy, but no frost. But meant to be quite nippy overnight so I put the blanket on the hen house to give them a bit more insulation :D
Jan, can't be easy learning a new language when you struggle with hearing
Cruiser I also had pancakes yesterday - a day late, but yummy they were. I had savoury ones though
Ally, do you ever stop??? :)
Jo, enjoy your day and your trip to Manchester - footie I assume?
Osc, the kids are growing up so fast! Just reads wrong that Michael wants to be home to study - feels like just yesterday he was a little boy :( time is flying by!

Office day for me; meeting up with friends after work which will be nice. Definitely work from home tomorrow though - yay!!!

Have a lovely day all x
