To be fair the Grants are all pretty ok but the Collins’. :o

I started watching around the time of free George Jackson I think. Maybe mid 80’s so it’s great to see how it all started

The body under the patio was an Irish actor called Bryan Murray. He has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s but continues to act in an Irish soap called Fair City.

Oh I remember seeing him in a few things! Shame about the Alzheimer’s, but glad to hear he’s still going x

Definitely! Although the young Simon O'Brien aka Damon is quite natural :)

I remember in the mid 80s he did a nightclub appearance here, he came across as being so lovely.
Got the signed photo from that night somewhere.

I've seen him on property shows fairly recently! Oh and very briefly on Corrie as a BF of Sean's.

I’m surprised by how young Sheila and Bobby look, and how tidy compared to when they played Jim and Barbara
I’ve just looked them up and Sue Johnston is now 79 and Ricky Tomlinson is 83 so they’d have been 39 and 43 in the very early episodes.
