Good morning

Sunny sun and sunshine 8-) 8-)

Been for a run and came back to find 3 bodies in our tv room.

Some of Jacob's friends.

I made them scrambled eggs and huckled them out as I'm doing a chicken roast dinner with all the trimmings as mum and dad are coming over for the day. :D :D

I've made strawberry cheesecake for dessert. :D :D

Enjoy the day everyone.

Good morning Sunday and good morning Sunshine! It's lovely and sunny here - I am off to hang my washing out shortly.

I have a day of Asti & lime, good food, good friends and pampering ahead of me. I am off to a friends house with a group of friends to be pampered by two wonderful beauticians. We will consume lots of asti spumanti mixed with fresh lime juice, eat oodles of lovely food and put the world to rights. We are due there at about 11am and I will get home anytime after 6pm.

We usually go back to our friends hotel for lasagne afterwards and meet up with our partners there but I never really feel like going and definitely don't feel like eating anymore so I may come straight home today.

And when I get home I can book my tickets to somewhere exotic - my ebay sales end this afternoon!

Morning all!

It's nice and sunny here though a bit chilly! We've got a few dog walks planned and apart from cooking dinner and helping Tom to bake a Madeira cake for my Dad's birthday tomorrow (he's never attempted a cake before), that's about it.

Have a good one everyone!

Morning all :)
(Jumping up and down smiley) We and Minnie have been for a real proper walk, all the way to Keyhaven and round the sea wall :D She found a stick to have thrown in the sea so she did some swimming too :D
We came back to lovely coffee and toasted raisin bread :)

There were loads of twitchers, apparently there's a golden oriole been spotted. It's a huge area, and rather a small bird, but I guess the bright colour would help!
Also saw some scary things beginning with s and with a k in the middle  I took some photos, will get them organised later.
Quite nice here, there was a frost overnight, the sun's been out a bit but mostly there's thin cloud.

Not sure what else we're doing, apart from a bit of eating and snooker and cricket-watching, I shall probably go into town for a while.
Have a good day all, good luck with the cake Jo :)

Oh how wonderful! I bet that was one of the best walks ever - so pleased she did so well!

Oh Di...the scary s and k thing....is it one of those things with no legs? If you put pics on can you put a warning in the header please?
All of a panic now if they're out and about. John keeps trying to tell me that he's only ever seen them on the Chase in very warm weather but I'm not convinced as I remember my Dad seeing one at Watersmeet in Devon one cool May Bank Holiday. We went a walk the other night in an area I've never been before and I got very twitchy because John said that was somewhere that he's seen them. :?

Afternoon all! We didn't crawl out of the bed until 11am :o :o , well we didn't get into it until 2.30am. Had a great night at a sequence dancing dinner dance which didn't end until almost 1am, then we were under pressure to stay for "just one" as some of our friends were staying in the hotel. However, we did visit the bar but decided to go home instead of staying on - saw on FB this morning that they were still going at 4am

We have a visitor arriving from England later on today for a few days, so I've had Mr. Osc whizz around with Henry, and I've done a bit of other tidying up. Off to have my shower soon then will take it easy for a few hours before heading to the airport to meet her, flight due at 5.50pm. Early to bed tonight I think! Have a good Sunday everyone :)
