Good morning.

Today's the day of the Brum meet.

We're picking Wendy up at 11.45 and getting the train from Lea Hall station to New Street.

Jackie would've dropped us at the O/C's but everywhere seems to be digging up roads. That and Christmas shoppers is not a good combo for easy moving traffic.
The train takes 12 minutes and it's only a short stroll to the pub.

When we decide to leave I'll book the return train on my app where Jackie will meet us at Lea Hall and we'll drop Wendy home.

We're then going to Jackie's local for the weekly quiz.

Good job I checked the train app last night, as they cancelled my direct train! I’m now coming via Cheltenham but due into Brum at roughly the same time, just a 45 minute wait in Cheltenham station See you later!

Morning all, it’s frosty but we’ve just had a lovely 3 mile walk with Bill.

Kaz, the train I was planning to take is cancelled too. There’s a big fire in Wolverhampton so currently there’s nothing going to New St, I can use the other line though.

Morning all, it’s quite bright here after lots of rain last night. I’ve soooo much to do today! I’ll just work my way through the list, it is always satisfying ticking things off as they get done. My sister is calling in today to collect presents for the family in Cork as she is visiting them next week. I am going to post the Christmas cards today, goodness only knows when the UK ones will arrive what with the planned strikes. The UK at the moment reminds me of the 1970s when there were so many strikes all the time - we lived there 1971-1975 and I remember it well. Right, there is work to be done, better get moving!

Bright and sunny right now, but I think rain's forecast for later.

We slept in again this morning, just having brekkie. We do need to pop out for fresh veggies shortly, but plan a nice easy afternoon.
