I'd love to say I've been up and about because it's so bright and sunny, but I shouldn't tell fibs It's been raining, it's dark and damp and not very warm.
Yesterday we did get a brief spell of sunshine, I even went out with Minnie without a jacket, but it changed soon after and the fog started closing in again. Bb was surprised when he got in as he'd had lovely weather. Sometimes being so near the coast is not such a good thing!
So today it looks like there won't be washing to dry outside, there won't be any gardening done or indeed any sitting in the sun looking at it...back to the h-word and maybe some sewing then.
Ooh this time next week Kaz and Co will be waking up on holiday

LOL Morning Di, you must have just beaten me to the spammers Di I can hardly wait!!!!! Just me and Mick though, Becks is Pepper-sitting and we couldn't get H out of school! I hope your weather improves, it looks bright here but too early yet to see how it's going to pan out.......xx

We ere up early again - seems to have been that kind of week! Mick had an early job to do and was at his work desk by 6.45 I really need to do a food shop - Mick will be in until about 1.30 so can be here for the garden guys. I thought the older one was the younger one's dad........until he called him granddad yesterday Either he has a portrait in the attic getting older, or else he started his family very young! Blimey

Harry weekend!!!!! Only until very early on Sunday as he has a footie tournament in Woking late morning, but I didn't want to leave seeing him again until after the holiday

I've been up and out for a good long get rid of all the nights out and lunches run this morning.

Picking mum and dad up at 11 and we're off to Tivoli market.

Back to theirs for lunch.

Beers and tapas with friends tonight.

Morning all. It started off lovely here this morning but has gone down hill since.

Pottering for me this morning - I've already done loads (including washing as it looked as though I would get it out on the line). Next job pizza dough making and then settle down to read some adoption papers. They look very complex this month - the agenda says that one case might be pulled so I am going to leave that until Wednesday and ring them before I read it to see if it is still going ahead or not.

I am off to a seminar about single status with the head this afternoon. Yawn. But on the plus side it is only just down the road from school and has a very nice cafe next door so we are going to lunch before it starts.

S is supposed to have a new friend home for tea tonight, which is lovely after all the problems we have been having. I think she is quite new to the school, having moved from a school in Chesterfield. I assume they have recently moved house. Hopefully she will still be allowed to come as S said she got a detention yesterday for not having her planner signed so she was worried that her mum would "ground" her.
