Recession!

Postby Workingman » 04 Aug 2022, 13:28

The BoE is forecasting five quarters of economic contraction, that's the last quarter this year and all of 2023. It also expects inflation to reach 13% before falling back - sometime. GDP is also set to shrink during that period.

The other day it was reported that 16,000 firms had closed during the pandemic. How many more will now go under?
