Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 15 Jul 2022, 05:30

Good morning.

Beautifully sunny and warm again. 8-)

Today is baby day! :cute:

Craig's driving the three of us to St Alban's to visit Ed, Briony and Rachel. :D

Ed thinks it's only Don and I going as we wanted to surprise him. He'll be delighted to see his cousin. :D

He also thinks we're coming by train and kept insisting yesterday he'd pick us up from the station and I had to keep insisting we'd booked an uber.
All lies of course...but nice ones.

After a few hours there we're heading off as Craig's taking Don and myself to Birmingham to Jackie's. :D

Our personal taxi driver will have a bite to eat with us and then head back to Nottingham.

Don's in Brum till Monday and I'm staying till next Saturday. :P

Tis all go!

Have a great day.

Morning all :)

Ally it definitely is all go for you! Give that gorgeous baby an extra cuddle from me :D xx

I envy you that swim today Jan  xx

Hope you get some sunshine Cruiser xx

It’s sunny here, and forecast to be very warm, although there’s a good breeze which should make it lovely and fresh :) I need a couple of bits from town that I couldn’t get in Sainsburys yesterday, so will be going out in a while. I’ll pop in and see D while I’m out, make sure she’s ok in this heat. I have ironing to do later, so I think I’ll set the board up in the living room and put the fan on

Have a good day everyone xxx

Hello all and good morning

Ally, have a fab time with Ed and family and extra baby cuddles from me as well
Jan, with Kaz on this one - envy you that pool!
Kaz and Cruiser, don't overdo the housework, esp if it gets hotter again - it can all wait

I haven't been online in a while, sorry. Work has been quite busy what with our US colleagues coming over and then Tuesday just gone I had some surgery that meant prepping loads at home / garden / allotment before because I'm restricted with lifting etc for about six weeks. So it's all been rather frantic getting all done. Follow up appointment with the surgeon today so will be leaving in about 20 mins or so; he's in London so not really looking forward to the hot train / tube, but hey ho - needs must.

Back home I suspect and then just chill and do nothing more than waft a hosepipe around :D

have a lovely Friday everyone x

Morning all, sun and cloud here, nice and warm. I’m going to the optician this morning, it’s been three years and I feel that my right eye has disimproved. On the way home, I’ll collect a book I ordered yesterday in the local bookshop - An Italian Girl in Brooklyn by Santa Montefiore, I do enjoy her books. When collecting Michael’s school books yesterday, I noticed that they have a half price box, so I’ll have a root through that. Edward is going to play golf and we’re going dancing later.

Morning all.
Dull here and fresh. We are going out to get our prescriptions this morning and pick up Eliza from nursery.
Then we will have lunch out at a local pub.
Apart from that it will be a quiet day for us.
Have a good one everybody.

Jose Felipe took the sky dish home with him last night. He said it's an ideal depth for his ducklings to swim in

Morning all :D

Hot 8-)

Take it easy Ria, not an easy journey today in this heat xx

Washing day for me. Intend to relax in the garden between loading/unloading, expect I'll feel like a yoyo by the time it's all done  Will need to leave the back gate on the latch, Sainsbury's are due to deliver later this afternoon and our door bell isn't always reliable.

Hope you all have a good day xx
