Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 21 Jun 2022, 05:36

Good morning.

Sunny and hot. 8-)

Been for my walk. :D

A swim then happily relaxing for the rest of the day.

12 big eggs were left at the gate so I'll make a tortilla shortly and have it with salad for dinner. :D

EDC and Sherwood tonight.

Have a great day.

Thinking of D and B Kaz. xxx

Good morning , it’s dull here :( I’m going shopping looking for a couple of dresses for dancing as sales are starting. I just need to tidy around and then I’ll head off. Edward has gone to play golf (for a change :P ). I might do some ironing when I get back - or not.

Sorry the seagulls woke you up Saundra, we have loads here, luckily I've learnt to tune them out.
Have a good day at the Algarve Jan.
Busy day for you again Cruiser.
Kaz continued vibes for Uncle B.
Best advice I can give you Osc, step away from that ironing board

We're off to the cinema this afternoon to see LIGHTYEAR, so excited, to infinity and beyond :D :D :D Who said I have to grow up  Afterwards we'll be walking round to the Toby for a carvery.

Hope you all have a good day xx

hello all

oops, thought I had posted this this morning and just popped on to see what was going on and there was my post, waiting to be submitted....

But what a beautiful sunny day it's been and thanks to the train strikes I was/ am working from home :D Actually looking at the time table it seems that they have managed to keep 2 trains an hour running through my station which is loads better than I thought it would be, which does however mean that I most likely will need to go into work tomorrow - sigh. But definitely home the rest of the week. Next week will be another full on week and I'll be in every day :(

Managed to get the front lawn mowed this morning and now waiting for it to cool a bit and I'll get the back lawn done (it's in full sun until about 7pm) and then also take the lawnmower (yippee for light battery operated ones) over to the allotment and give the foot path around my plot a quick once over and also water.

have a lovely evening everyone x

Well that was a different shopping outing! I was browsing in M&S and had picked out two dresses to try on. When I was in the dressing room, my eye went a bit funny and I wondered if I had looked at a really bright light. Then I could see lots of colours and realised I was having an ocular migraine. I’ve had two before in my life, the last one six or seven years ago. I decided to buy the two dresses and struggled to put my PIN number in when paying. Then into the food hall, managed to get what I wanted, then staggered up to the cafe feeling a bit woozy. Got a cuppa and a bun, by which time the migraine was easing, they only last 20-30 minutes. I drove home carefully feeling very tired, but once I got home, I felt ok. I have no idea what triggered it.

On the plus side, I got great value in M&S using my Sparks card. 15% off the dresses and fruit and veg, plus a free gift of a six pack of apples. I also picked up some Italian ready meals at 3 for €10, they are handy to have in the freezer.

Well, that was rather an expensive day

Hit IKEA for towels, pillows and pillows cases, two bedside table lamps and lunch. Which was the cheapest thing

Then a few other shops, a couple of tops for me and a hoodie for the winter at 6.99  :Hi: :Hi: Then Tesco, dear me, that was expensive, then off to Guia. Leroy Merlin for wall lights by the pool, couple of really good quality t-shirts for Grumpy and a few other bits and bobs.

Grumpy met us at the bar and we unloaded Jan's car, couple of beers and everything now packed away.

Been cool and windy up here, was lovely down in the Algarve

Salad for me, himself is having favas 8-)
