Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 01 Jun 2022, 05:01

Good morning.

Whoever coined the phrase 'flaming June' obviously lived here.

The move went perfectly yesterday ending up with cold beers, cold showers and an extra load of sweaty clothes washing.

Jacob's working in his office today so we have a day off from the newly founded Bodgit & Dodgit removal company.

I shall use this sweet free time to zonk out by the pool.

Sewing Bee tonight. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny now, with a few fluffy white clouds, but we were woken up in the early hours by rain, hammering on the roof  Forecast more rain this afternoon, but can't see it, looking at the sky.

Off to the dentist this morning, still problems with the same tooth, or maybe gum, so we'll see what he has to say.

Then the normal supermarket run, pit stop at he bar for coffee and then back to do not a lot.

I might move the bulbs that I didn't do yesterday. it was too windy, almost got blown over  and the ground will be easier to dig.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a lovely morning here, but it does look cooler than it should be, the sea is a hard looking shade of blue. Lots to do as I work my way through the holiday prep list. I’ll go to take out money shortly then back to do lots of other stuff, culminating in doing the packing. I also want to confirm our transport from Rome to Civitavecchia on Friday morning. Better get on >>>>>>>>>>

Morning all

Have a lovely time this afternoon Saundra; looking forward to photo's on FB later on
Ally enjoy the zonk day - sounds needed after yesterday. Glad the move went well
Jan, hope you get your tooth / gum sorted - dental pain isn't nice
Osc, hope you get your bits and bobs sorted
Vic, we had a sunny start to the day but still have the wind and i's now clouded over again and expected to rain through to about 2pm. And it's really not warm at all - overnight down to about 4 again. My heating has been coming on which is unheard of for this time of year.

I'm about to head to Morrison's for a few garden bits. Nadine's cousin works there so I've borrowed Nadine's friends and family's discount card - they have 20% off everything with the card so it's a decent saving given the amount of compost I'm looking to buy and I need to give the card back at some point :D

Will do a bit more pootling at home until the rain finishes and then hopefully get to the allotment this afternoon. I was hoping to plant up loads of veg plants but am really worried about the cold. Will see how the day goes

Nothing else exciting to report so have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny right now, hope it lasts.

Enjoy your lazy day Ally.
Good luck at the dentist Jan, hope it isn't too ghastly.
Saundra have a lovely birthday tea with Scarlett xx
Not long to wait now Osc.

We had a lovely time with the family yesterday. Mind you we all got drenched coming back from the Pavilion. Had to hang all the wet clothes up in the utility room. They're having time on the beach this morning and will be with us for coffee and lunch between 1-2pm before setting off home.

Hope you all have a good day xx
