Still prefer my Dyson though

You love them even more when the non Dyson needs it's filter cleaned. I use the Dyson to hoover out the non Dyson filters....

More than happy with my Bosch.

Cruiser, living in a Portuguese house, they have a "thing" about sockets. Most houses have one socket in each room and then use endless extension cables

We actually have two in most rooms but even so, using a normal vacuum, with a cord, means stopping, pulling out the plug, moving it to another socket, starting again, so my cordless is a godsend.

My lounge had two sockets, both at one end of the room

The floor space of the house, without workshop and garage, is 500m2.

We use cordless for floors. Even the stairs and one floor is pushing it.

This is when moving a cord is the lesser evil.
