Morning all

I'm sure I'm not the first up, but it is early for me lol Bright and sunny outside, fingers crossed it stays that way as I'm off out shortly for a 10am appointment with the hairdresser..........urgently needed I might add

Afterwards need to stop off at the local shops for some bread etc and then be back here for a client at 1pm. Will be waiting around for a Tesco delivery due sometime after 3 and that's all the excitement for today.

Well we had another early bird here too - poor old Becks must still be on Malaysian time as she was up and showering just after 6am College for her today and back to normality

It's bright and lovely here, but there might be showers later. I'm off into town to try to find some white shorts - I know the style I want, tailored white cotton or linen with turn ups that sit a few inches above the knee. I had a pair last year for our hols and wore them to death but this year I can't find any I have another couple of pairs of shorter shorts but I really want the white ones as well.. Someone suggested George at Asda might do them so I might pop in there and then get some food shopping as well - two birds with one stone

Morning chumettes

Took Ed round a few of our local hostelries last night..very enjoyable.

Today Ed, Don and myself are going to Plaza Mayor with mum and dad..a spot of shopping and then lunch.

Back home to make a Rogan Josh curry and all the trimmings for dinner tonight.

Thanks Kaz...Ed is such a genuinely lovely chap (just like his dad Con.)

There was much talk of Con last night..Ed said at the end of the night how nice it was to be able to talk so much about his dad. (xxx)

We all agreed how much Don looks and sounds like Con..but Ed finds that very comforting.

On this visit mum has been saying lots of times to me..oh, you're just like your dad.

(Not that I've noticed) but when I sit down I put one foot on top of the other (very unladylike says mum ) but dad always does that too.

This could be a new thread..funny little foibles.

Fairly bright and nice here, it is due to cloud over more later and possibly some rain but hopefully the washing will be dry by then.
Kaz hopefully the early start will help B's timeclock get back in sync.
Ally it sounds like you're having a lovely time, and yes it is nice being able to talk about people like that.

Minnie is ok, she and Bb did the 'proper' field walk again this morning, so she's definitely still improving on the original problem.
