Sunny and warm start to the day 8-)

Bit of pootling in the garden, dead heading this morning and that's about it. Too hot to do anything else.

Good morning everybody.

It is cloudy but warm.
Amgoing to box in the new gas pipe in the garage today. I had to have a largere diameter pipe when the new boiler was installed. The new
pipe is attached to the inside wall of the garage. I have cut up an old door so lots of drilling and screwing today.

Have a good day everybody.

Wow Ally, that’s hot!!! Good idea to take it easy xxx

Pootling and floating sounds like a plan, Jan 8-) :) xx

Hope that goes well Cruiser xx

Morning all :) We fly home really late tonight, 22.50, so as we had to check out of our rooms at 11am (it’s currently 11.15) there will be a lot of hanging round. We’ve left our cases and jackets at the luggage drop in reception and are finding various places to chill out. Going to have a long slow walk round the hotel and grounds a bit later, take some more pictures and enjoy the sun.

It’s wet at home, Mick checked the security cameras :cute: Will be the early hours by the time we get home, probably sleep until late morning then go and collect the hound :D It’s been a great week 8-) :D

Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning all, it’s a lovely day. Michael and Kellie arrive later for their 3-night sleepover. We’ll go dancing this morning and be back before they get here after school. I think things are going to be busy for the next few days ;)

Edward’s BIL died yesterday, the funeral is on Saturday which created some difficulties with Michael and Kellie’s schedule for the day, but thankfully my sister will step in to help out. Miss Osc is upset she can’t be at the funeral, they are at a wedding in Donegal on Friday where SIL is a groomsman. If it had been nearer to Dublin, she could have got here Saturday morning, but it is a 3 hour+ drive which wouldn’t work for a 10am funeral. A happy release for him, and relief for the family that he is no longer in pain.

Morning all :D

Rain overnight, thunder and lightening too but I slept through that. Looks like the sun's coming out now.

Safe journey Kaz.
Sorry to hear about Edward's BIL Osc xx

E managed the whole walk with just one crutch yesterday, and is now walking around the bungalow without either of them 8-) It's only 3wks since his op, I can hardly believe it after all the problems he had with the left hip. Obviously he's still keeping to all the recommendations and not doing any bending and he's continuing with his raised chair/bed until he see's Mr.McCulloch for his 6wk post op.

Shopping today, M&S at Westwood Cross. He should get more than enough steps in there ;)

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s a sunny one and is warming up now.

Bill had his walk first thing, it was so humid. He had a check up at the eye vets near Leominster on Tuesday. The vet was really pleased with how he’s doing so she’s cancelled his next follow up which would’ve been next Tuesday and made an appointment for 5 weeks time and also reduced the drops to twice daily rather than four times. It’s still four different drops each time but at least it’s freed up a couple of hours because you have to leave at least 10 minutes between each one so it’s a lot of clock watching. There’s a fifth type which he still has to have at bedtime but that’s easy enough.

I’ve just watched last night’s Derry Girls - again. What a wonderful ending to an absolutely brilliant series.

Sorry to see your sad news Osc x

Have a safe journey Kaz x

Have a good day all :)
