Grumpy watching garbage on the tv, so I sat outside with my glass of wine.

Three flies in it

Chucked that out, then sat outside again, with another glass of wine.

Four flies this time.

What a waste of wine

What a frustrating afternoon.

First off Hermes delivered my parcel, the driver took the photo of it with the door open but then held the touchscreen device towards me to sign and it was the filthiest piece of equipment, it looked like it’d got dried on splashes of something on the screen. I refused to sign it, a photo has been good enough for the last two years and he’d already taken one anyway but he refused to leave it without a signature. I tried to pull the parcel out of his hand but his grip was too tight
I’ve checked their site to see if they’ve reintroduced signing but it says that if an item needs proof of delivery in the form of a signature then they’ll take a photo instead.

Secondly. Bill’s eye drops. The ones he was prescribed the other day are indeed unavailable at the main suppliers. I’ve phoned round so many different pharmacies this afternoon with no luck and finally, 3 minutes before they closed, found that Boots (which is usually useless so were my last resort) have two bottles so I’ll be there when they reopen at 9am tomorrow.
