Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 02 Apr 2022, 06:07

Good morning.

Warm and sunny. 8-)

Going for a walk whilst the others are still sleeping.

Conor's coming over so him, Jacob, Don, Jackie and myself are all going out for lunch. :D

The boys are going to a party tonight and us older ones will get a takeaway and watch a film.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny start, although it was cold night.

Washing out and we'll head down to the veggie garden after breakfast. It really needs weeding.

That's this mornings job, we'll pop down the bar this afternoon and we're having roast pork for dinner, instead of curry

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning, it’s sunny and cold here.

Off out for a walk with John and Bill shortly. When I get back I need to make a lasagne ready for John and Tom’s dinner because me and Joe will be in Manchester. No easy feat today seeing as the oven decided to stop working last night. I’ve had to find a large and deep enough dish that’ll hold enough for their large appetites but will fit in the air fryer. I’d rather not go down the takeaway route seeing as we’ve got a hell of a lot of expense coming up in the next month.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all, it’s quite sunny but chilly. I’ll do some ironing in a while, and I need to go out and buy some of my favourite sourdough bread. This evening I’m going to see Giovanni Pernice, so Edward can watch non-stop golf from America all evening ;) We’re thinking we dodged a bullet not going on the cruise, on the various FB pages we are seeing that apart from those who tested positive ship-side and didn’t get on, many people contracted Covid on the previous cruise. Many of those who tested positive had been negative before leaving home that same day, so it does seem like a bit of a mess. We are quite glad the decision was made for us in plenty of time, because we are both now well out of our isolation time and were able to enjoy our normal dancing this week.

Dry with sunny spells just about sums our weather today.......so far.

Enjoy lunch out Ally.
Have fun at the bar this afternoon Jan.
Hope it doesn't cost too much to get the oven fixed Jo.
Very envious Osc, love Gio.

Bed change day, the sheets are in the wash. Need to amend my Tesco order for Monday and order a few bits from Lakeland, other than that like Saundra a quiet day for us.

Good afternoon everybody.

There are some clouds but patches of blue sky. Have had to take grand-daughter to Warrington to get train to London. Trains are not
stopping at Preston or Wigan due to engineering work over the week end. Have had a phone call to say she is on the train direct to
London. We enjoyed our time together especialy the visit to the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.
Am going to relax this afternoon.
Got some ironng to do but that can wait till tomorrow.
Have a good day everybody

Picked enough peas for dinner tonight :Hi: Will do some more tomorrow, my back was telling me enough bending over, thank you

The wind has been quite cold  even though it's 18C now.

Hope the oven is fixable Jo 8-)
