Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 30 Mar 2022, 06:10

Good morning.

Warm and sunny. 8-)

Us gallivanting gals are off to Torremolinos for the day.

Lots of coastal walking, bit of shopping and lunch. :D

I thought I'd last seen Jackie in 2020 but it was actually July 2019. :o so it's lovely to spend so much time with her now. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

More clouds than sun this morning, with a chilly wind

Off to Ourique later, need to get something for the pool, money to pay for the wine and do Aldi.

Pit stop for coffee on the way back and out in the garden this afternoon, when it's warmer.

Might get some strimming done. The weeds down the drive are half the height of the car

Enjoy you day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning ladies.
Gallivanting gals! I like that.
Pit stop is always good Jan.
Well, it's a miserable day here. Grey and raining steadily. We are picking Eliza up from nursery later.
After that we will probably be recovering. MrsC is baking some bread; she made a lemon drizzle cake last Saturday that was to die for.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s fairly dreary here and supposed to rain all day :( I think we are going to see Michael play football with his school football team, he was at the Ireland -v- Lithuania match last night, so could be rather tired. I’ll make a batch of soup this morning and I need to pop to the post office. I still haven’t got to the ironing ……

Good morning everybody.

It is cloudy and trying to rain. Have been to the surgery to pick up a form for another blod test. Then to Tesco for bread and cereal
for grandaughter for breakfast tomorow. Then to market to get her a slice of carrot cake. She will have it when she arrives this evening.
Then to the chemist to pick up prescription.
Will relax this afternoon before going to station to meet grand-daughter.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :D

We've just had a shower, it's very grey and overcast now and the temperature has definitely dropped

Enjoy your gallivanting Ally.
Go easy with that strimmer Jan.
MrsC is welcome to come here any day to do some baking Crommers.

Ironing, what's that Osc ;)
Enjoy having your granddaughter come to stay Cruiser.

Nothing much happening here, quite happy to stay in the warm, it doesn't look too inviting outside.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Blowing a flippin' hooley now, so that's no strimming or outside work, I'd get blown over, it's that strong

Lovely when you're out of the wind though

Managed to get some black pork cheeks in Aldi, so will have to look up how to cook them. Have had them in various restaurants and they are really lovely.

Afternoon everyone :)

Ally, behave yourselves ;) :D xx

I love a lemon drizzle, Crommers :D xx

Hope the weather improves Jan xx

Definitely colder here too Jen :cute: xx

Enjoy your granddaughter's visit Cruiser :) xx

It's full here today, but at least it's dry :) Becky and I went into town as it's her day off :) We had a cuppa in M&S and a bit of a mooch. Then she got a bus home with the shopping and I walked up to D's. Been home about half an hour. Not sure about Zumba tonight, will see how I feel later 8-)

Love to all :) xx

Afternoon all, it’s much cooler here and we’ve had a bit of rain this afternoon.

Joe was home early from college so he’s been doing his coursework here, they seem to spend more time doing college work at home with text books at the ready on the days they’re supposedly there full time with a tutor.

Might go to Ikea tonight.

Lemon drizzle is my absolute favourite Crommers!

Have a good day all :D

Hello all, rather late in the day - sorry

Jan, do you have a slow cooker? They're amazing done in that
Ally, hope you're having just the best time?
Cruiser have a lovely time with your grand daughter, very special moments
Osc, dare I say rather you than me out in the rain watching the kids play football - as much as one does love them :D
Crommers and Jen, hope you both had good days so far?
Kaz, how is B enjoying the new job - sorry if I've missed updating posts, just really not been online all that much

A busy day at the office today. Usually when I come in there's only about 3, maybe 4 of us so nice and quiet. Today we're 15 and it's really busy; we are having our very belated office Christmas dinner tonight. Was meant to be December, then January then beginning this month and now finally it's the day hence all the people in. We also have two colleagues from the US here so that's making people come in as well. I'll be shattered by the time the weekend comes; not used to this anymore
