Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 16 Feb 2022, 06:55

Good morning.

If it's the same as yesterday I'm announcing it a hot day! 8-)

Walk shortly. :D

Yesterday's shower pool tile hunting was very successful in that they were purchased from the third shop we visited. :cute: I was quite giddy with relief.

Reading, sun lounger and lazy is my mantra today.

Have a great day.

Safe travels to our Ria. xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny but cold at the moment. Will warm up nicely later.

Safe journey to Ria xx

Hope Jen got on okay yesterday and it wasn't too late a night for them x

I take it you're enjoyed retirement Ally?

Off to Ourique after breakfast, to do quite a bit. Various shops to visit, things to buy, petrol too - need a mortgage for that, I think.

Stopping at Jan's on the way back, she's been in England, with her mum, who is not well. So need to catch up there.

Weeding this afternoon, once it warms up and as long as the north wind stays away.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

Very windy but no rain yet. Grey skies so we may have some later.
Have been for the paper and will have a coffee when I have washed up the breakfast pots.
Ally, enjoy retirement. You will wonder how you fround time to go to work.
Have finally managed to get a refund for a parcel which one of the courier firms lost. Acording to the tracking record, they only made
one attempt to deliver it.
Only when I senty an email to the CEO saying I was going to the small claims court was the refund paid into my bank account.

Have a good day everybody

Good morning.
I think that retirement will suit you Ally.
Blowing a gale here at the moment, as expected.
Not really a day for going far unless you have to. We will go to the butcher to get some stewing steak for a bouef bourguignon which I'll make tomorrow.
May nip out for a coffee and get the paper otherwise it's in the house for most of the day.
Oh yes, maybe pay the gas bill :o .
Have a good one everybody.

Morning all, it’s quite bright but windy here, forecast to get a lot worse as the day goes on. The problem with the car is a broken rear suspension spring, second time it has happened with this car. It’s being repaired tomorrow. Lazyish day planned, I did all the ironing yesterday. I’ll make a batch of soup, and want to go to the post office to take out some money. Must head out before the bad weather arrives.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Not much happening today, just had some meds delivered and we're expecting the electrician around 5ish. A couple of the ceiling spotlights in the kitchen need bulbs replacing. E did try, but getting up on steps really isn't good for him right now. We'll also get him to look at the ones in the bathroom, the surrounds are looking a bit rusty, they're nowhere near as good quality as the ones in the kitchen. It'll probably be expensive, but providing it isn't too silly we'll get them changed. Oh and one row of the kick board lights in the kitchen isn't working, hopefully that will just be a fuse somewhere, can't manage without our disco lights

Hope you all have a good day xx

How I loathe that supermarket   Nasty place, full of idiots who can't make their mind up where they're going, so abandon trollies and baskets in the middle of the rather small isles

But we got everything done, stuff for the pool, stuff for us and petrol

Jan's mum a lot better for her visit and is seeing a neurosurgeon later this week, so hopefully, they'll get some answers.

Idiot next door has now planted another row of olive trees. We're in a drought situation, so he plants 20 trees   They're far to close to each other and as they're quite small, there is not a hope of him seeing them grow too much. Very slow growing, olive trees 8-)

Bit blowy, although it's quite warm in the sun, so I might give weeding a miss.

Hope it's not too expensive Jen x
