Morning Ally, morning everyone

Clouds and sun this morning, chilly though.

I'm off out with the dog walkers this morning, well wrapped up and they layers can come off as I get warm :D

Back to bacon butties - cooked breakfast for Grumpy - and then attack the cleaning.

I'm of out with friends this afternoon. Ourique has it's first Christmas market, so we're heading up to the Miradoura for a wander around.

And then, we're meeting our nice neighbors for a pre dinner drink, and Grumpy will drive into Ourique again. Going to a restaurant we've not been to in a long time, as it was dire  But new people, so fingers crossed.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two, morning everyone and happy Friday.

Ally enjoy the brunch and then your beer and tappas!
Jan enjoy (hope you enjoyed) the walk and esp those bacon butties; yum :D Have fun at the market and enjoy the dinner - hope the food is better!

Usual work morning for me - getting the last of the expenses processed; they need to be in today. I've done all but one and it's a messy one so I've been putting it off and off and now it's become a much bigger job than it should be - totally my own fault so I just need to man up and get it over and done with.

Meeting with Nadine in town later for a quick mooch and late lunch (trusty laptop coming with me  ). Got a friend coming up from Brighton for lunch tomorrow; it's her birthday so I need to find a little gift for her and also get some Happy Birthday bits and bobs to decorate the table. And need to get bits and bobs to make up a hamper to send to Germany for mom (which reminds me I need to call the courier company)...

have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all, it’s very dark and dreary here. I’m up early as I am getting my nails done at 10am - my first time having shellacs  Normally I get just a shape and polish manicure but my nails are not in great nick so I decided to take the big step. Then I am going to lunch with two of my gym friends. This evening we are going to a Christmas social dance, so I’ll be getting out the glitter again :D Better get moving!

Good morning all.
Misty here this morning but sunny.
Enjoy your nights out Ally, Jan and Osc. Don't forget the lappy Ria!
In a mo I'm going for a walk around the block. Then at 11.30 it's off to the nursery to pick Eliza up. They break up for Christmas today so the children will all be a bit hyper.
Have a good day all.

Lovely walk, although chilly in the valleys. Just this one hill, said Jan. Ha! One bluddy great hill and one very long incline. My thighs, my poor thighs

Bacon butties were lush, I'm going to ignore the cleaning until tomorrow, heading for the shower now.

Hope you all get everything done that needs to be done xx

Afternoon all :)

Dull and overcast here

Would have posted earlier, but had a phone call from Z. They're off to Scotland to visit Mark's parents tomorrow, they get back on 22nd and will be with us on Boxing Day, can't wait to see them all.

Usual Friday washing day for us, expecting Sainsbury's anytime now and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day Image

Afternoon everyone :)

Ally, your day sounds fun :D xx

Jan, I made bacon butties for brekky today - Harry was out early for a long shift, and B had her booster, so it was an early start

I hope you enjoyed your mooch with Nadine, Ria, and have a lovely time with your friend tomorrow :) xx

Osc, I saw your nails on Insta! They look fab! Have a great time tonight :D xx

Aw Crommers, little ones just make Christmas, don't they? :) ;) xx

Saundra, it's not a job I enjoy either, but I have cheated for the last few years, and bought those foil present bags  :x xx

Oh that's something lovely to look forward to Jen :D xx

I've decided to go for a silvery theme for my Christmas dining table this year, rather than the red and gold I usually go for - I changed my kitchen blinds and accessories from red to powder blue this year, and silver will look nicer. I couldn't find any silver crackers or napkins in the supermarket, and the Amazon ones were silly prices (18 quid for a box of crackers??!! ) but decided to check out Wilkos in town this morning, and found everything I needed :D :D Much cheaper too  8-) Walked up to D's after that, and then home. Just had a belated lunch - banana sandwich on wholemeal :) It's nice and quiet here, just me and Fraggle as the kids are at work, and Mick's knocked off work early to go to the gym 8-)

Love to all :) xx
