Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 14 Dec 2021, 07:02

Good morning.

Stuck record Susie reporting sunny and warm again. 8-)

A run, back to shower etc then meeting my friend Fin at 11 to have coffee and cake and give her her birthday present. Gin.

Don's taking the car to the garage as the air con needs gas? I wasn't really listening when he was explaining.

Masterchef tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cloudy start but we're supposed to get some sunshine today. Mild though.

Bit of a tidy up this morning, then meeting friends, coming up from the Algarve, for lunch. Don't normally do lunch, so it will take me and Gladys a few days to get over it

Back here, so she can offload all the goodies she's made for me :Hi: and then we'll just see how the day goes.

Going to the Adega do Monte Velho, so at least we know the food will be good 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

merry morning Ally and everyone

Ally, enjoy the sun and warmth; I know it's a real struggle, but do it for us! :D :D
I was posting on FB this morning that I was sitting in the lounge with the doors open (and back door to give the house a good airing). Usually i'd be wrapped in a blanket and hugging my cuppa, but it's so mild for this time of year, the blanket wasn't needed.

Board meeting day today. It was originally a face to face one; but because of the new "work from home if you can" directive it's a virtual one again (yay!!! shortest ever commute from sofa to desk  ) But it does mean I have to have the meeting running in the background for a few hours as it's a locked meeting and I'll have to let people join when it's their turn so I can't do much as I have to hang about and be by the computer all the time.

That's about as exciting as my day is going to be

have a good one everyone x

Morning all, it’s a lovely bright winter morning, there was frost earlier. I had planned to go to a shopping centre today, but I was lying in bed earlier and asked myself why I was putting myself through that when I don’t have too much to get. Plan cancelled and now I will mooch around local shops. First I need to check out my “present” box to see exactly what I have already. I’ve organised a cinema voucher online for my brother, it will be sent directly to him. Just need something for my sister and something small for Miss Osc as I already have her main present. Then this afternoon, it’ll be the ironing.

Good morning all.
Ally I think Don wants to re-gas the air con in the car. Hopefully there won't be a little hole in the system because if their is it will all come straight out again!
We have been to Sainsbury's and mrsC is going to the hairdressers this afternoon.
I am off to the butchers to order some beef and a pork pie for Christmas.
Also might try and dive of to Marks and Sparks for a few bits.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon everyone :)

I have finally finished the present shopping! :Hi: :Hi: Have also been round to see D, one of Mick's cousins and her OH popped in for a cuppa and mince pie. Haven't seen them for a couple of years as they live in Hampshire, but he's Welsh and they'd been in Cardiff visiting rellies, so called in on the way home. They're getting married in September, in a venue at Cardiff Castle, which should be lovely 8-) Only immediate family though, so we won't be going.

Hope your friend enjoys her pressie Ally   xx

How was lunch, Jan? :D xx

Ria, it's quite mild here today too :) xx

Osc, very sensible 8-) xx

Wow, yours too Saundra!! :D :Hi: xx

Oh that will be nice Cruiser! :D xx

Love to all xxx
