Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 05 Dec 2021, 07:25

Good morning.

Forecast sunny and warm. 8-)

We went out for lunch yesterday and what a lovely surprise....David and his mum joined us! It was a lovely afternoon :x

No walk today as I've got lots to do including putting the tree up. It's going to be emotional, for sure. :o

I also need to get Jacob's room ready, ie quilt on his bed, as he's back from Granada tomorrow.
Only till Wednesday as he then goes to Lithuania. ;)

Friends have asked us over for a BBQ this afternoon. I'll see how I feel.

Glad H's first day went well Kaz. X

Have a good day.

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

Lots of cleaning and tidying up as I am having visitors this afternoon. It is a nephew of Audrey and his partner. He has his own security business and works
all over the country. Has done work for several Premier league footballers. Have only seen him once since the funeral in March even though he
only lives about ten miles away.

Have a good day everybody

Morning <Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Cloudy start and not that cold either.

Had a lovely long lie-in, with a coffee :D Not very often we do that, but a quiet day for us, not a lot to do, apart from watch sheep

Grumpy has the floor to mop and he'll water the pots, but that's about it for the day.

Roast pork for dinner and a cooked breakfast, as a treat.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s bright out there and probably cold. We got our boosters yesterday, and Edward feels fine apart from a sore arm. However, together with the sore arm, I feel pretty cr*p. I’ve had breakfast and think I will head back to bed. Later, I hope to start the Christmas cards.

Morning all, it’s quite sunny but very cold and breezy.

I’ve just hung a load of washing out to dry, now just doing my hair and then setting off for Manchester with Joe for a 2pm
kick off.

Kaz, really pleased to see that Harry had a good first day and that his worries have been eased! :D

Hope you’re feeling better soon Osc x

Have a good day all xx

Morning all :)

Wet and windy here

Glad Harry had a good first day Kaz.
Enjoy time with your visitors Cruiser.
Hope you soon feel better Osc x
Saundra our outside lights are on a timer and go on at 4pm and off at 11pm every evening. 1pm sounds much too late, good advice from Jan, ask your neighbours to turn yours off earlier.

We had a nice lie in so just having brekkie. Roast chicken with veg for dinner, vanilla blancmange with lemon and lime jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Evening everyone :)

Up early as Becky needed a lift to work, and H to church, so we dropped them off then had brekky at Corretto's. Got home at lunchtime, I made a roast - chicken and roasties etc. B is now home from work, and H is out with new friends from church, at a pub up Cleeve Hill, which is the other side of Cheltenham :) It's absolutely butter cold here, has been all day!

We put the tree up yesterday, a new one all pre-lit, putting it up was considerably less faff than the old one   Not done the outside lights yet, that's a job for another day. Might write my cards out later 8-)

Osc, I still feel a bit groggy from our jabs, to be honest

Take care everyone :) xxx
