Poor old Fraggle

He probably has cruciate ligament damage in his leg He was playing with another dog yesterday who got a bit boisterous and bowled him over, and Fraggle hurt his leg We won't know for sure until Wednesday, when he sees the orthopaedic vet, but he can't put any weight on it at all, so it looks likely. If it is, he'll probably need surgery. In the meantime he's had an anti-inflammatory injection, and pain meds.

He still can't put weight on it He's hopping around fairly well on three legs, but has needed carrying up and down stairs. He's a bit dopey because of the pain meds. Cruciate damage, and therefore surgery is looking likely

Poor Fraggle all for being happy and playing nicely

So now the appointment is for Thursday, as Alistair (the specialist vet) is off sick, possibly covid, so he’s now seeing another, Jason, on Thursday. This means nothing will be resolved before we leave for Dorset on Friday We’re going to have to cancel Teckels (kennels) as obviously we can’t leave a poorly dog with them, and leave him at Woods for them to keep an eye on him over the weekend. It’s a real worry, and if this wasn’t a much-anticipated family wedding I would be minded to cancel. But we can’t.
