Haven't slept much, don't feel too bad, sore but no more than expected. The nurse in recovery said it had been a bit tricky but it did go well.

Managed to have a lovely chat with E late last night. Just having a nice coffee.

Friday means it's cleaning day for me. Seems to come round very quickly Grumpy will carry on cleaning the windows. We've already had a discussion about the inside, as he reckons that's my responsibility until I reminded him about going round after me, cleaning them again, the last time I did it

We bought some pea and broad beans yesterday, so I'll soak them for a couple of days before we plant them.

Dull and damp.
Going shopping then home to ironing and housework.
JanB, I can remember when I was in primary school, putting broad beans and peas in jam jars with blotting paper and watching then slowly
grow up the inside of the jars. We would then plant them out in the small garden area we had at one side of the school building.

I had a good drive out yesterday to charge the car battery, Pateley Bridge and back.

Today is more mundane. Bedding change and hot wash for the duvet cover and sheets. The winter duvet is also going on. The forecast is for night time temperatures to drop to "feels like" -1 °C or lower. It is noticeable that the strong winds and low temperatures of late have thinned out the leaves on the more exposed trees.

We need to get some shopping today and will be picking Eliza up after morning nursery.
Both MrsC and i are full of cold, again. We need to get some redoxon or similar.

Afternoon all, it’s dull and cold here, I wore my winter jacket for the first time. I had booked to go to the gym, but then my Friday walking pals said they were meeting up in the house of one of them, so I cancelled the gym. One of the “girls” had open heart surgery a while back, but still isn’t doing too well, it seems to be a problem with getting her medication right. Enjoyed the catch up. Yesterday was busy and I didn’t get around to posting. There is a pile of ironing awaiting my attention, but I might not get to it until tomorrow

Glad to hear you are doing ok, Jen, keep taking any drugs they offer!!
