Morning Cruiser, morning everyone

Lovely sunny morning again, but a little chilly at the moment. Not a cloud in the sky and no wind :Hi:

I have a pile of ironing to get through this morning and then I'll make some flat breads for tonight's curry. We're planning on a visit to the bar this afternoon, so I'll ring Mitchell and see if he would like to join us. He's been very good, ringing me every week, to see how I'm doing.

Apart from that, not a lot. Grumpy has the vacuuming and mopping to do. I have offered, but he thinks it's too soon for me to lug the vacuum around and I certainly couldn't/wouldn't pick the full bucket up, so the corners and under things will have to wait a while

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s sunny here.

Off to Hednesford Hills with Bill shortly, haven’t really got any plans for the rest of the day.

Have a good one all. :D

Morning all :) xx

Enjoy your pootle, Cruiser :) xx

Aw Saundra! ((((x))))

Jan, those flatbreads sound intriguing, I've stopped buying naan breads since doing SW, as they are so high in Syns and rice is "free" but I'm wondering if your flatbreads would "work" 8-) Is there a recipe? Apologies if you've already put one on, and I missed it ;) I'm glad Grumpy is keeping an eye on you! :cute: ;) xx

Enjoy your walk Jo, lovely day for it :) xx

It's a lovely sunny day here too! Been to SW, the holiday gain was only a pound and a half, much better than I expected
Now we're all four of us, sitting outside Corretto's, enjoying what's left of late summer 8-) Fraggle is so well-behaved now when we take him out, he's sitting under our table with his bowl of water, waiting for crumbs ;)

Round to D's in a while, Jeff and Jayne are up from Weymouth to take D out for a belated birthday meal tonight. We're going round tomorrow as well, for Sunday lunch. A roast followed by D's apple cake and cream for pud 8-) :D We picked the apples from D's trees last weekend :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, quite a nice day here after a misty early start. It’s my birthday weekend :D (actually tomorrow). My brother is on his way from Cork, my sister will meet him off the train and they will come here - he is staying tonight as he is flying off to Majorca tomorrow evening. Then around 5pm we will all head over to Miss Osc’s for dinner, the children, especially Kellie, love any occasion that can be made into a party! I’ve just been to have a manicure, very handy having a nail bar virtually next door! Now I have the perfect excuse not to do any work ;) I did all the finishing up with brother’s room and bathroom before I went out.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Jan well done to Grumpy keeping an eye on you.
Enjoy your walk Jo.
Gosh it must be extra quiet where you are Saundra.
Well done Kaz, that's not a lot to put on after a holiday.
Enjoy your birthday weekend Osc.

We'll be out in the garden like you Cruiser. Weeding and giving it a general tidy.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all - back on the laptop today, feels very different to have a proper keyboard!! :D

It's been a grey but warm morning, today i have been tidying the garage out....well one corner at least, and throwing a lot of stuff out, or taking to the tip. It's very satisfying to do this type of chore, I don't remember the last time I did it and the floor was very dusty!! I have also washed the kitchen floor and popped the cleaning stuff in the washer. I had a breakfast of porridge and coffee, to see if my tummy had finally settled, (had a nasty attack of IBS last night) and it stayed put, so I had a cheese sandwich for lunch - of course if I'd been fine I'd have probs gone out and then the garage would still have been a mess!!

Charlie has just been sick again.....we have had 8 days of no sick, too :( I am recognising the signs now and make sure (or try to!) that he's in the conservatory where the floor is laminate.....my carpets have taken quite a bashing lately!! He's only been eating chicken all week and occasionally kibble, (James Wellbeloved fish, recommended by the vet) but the 'itis' is clearly flaring again :( Maybe he's in sympathy with me from last night!!

Have a great Saturday all xx
