Oh James looks soooo at home :)

Debih yes, agree with Kaz, the very best bread and butter pudding is with hot cross buns, make as usual but spread slices of them with butter and marmalade :)
Have fun

I'll third the hot cross bun recipe!

So Deb, I know it was a long time all coming together...but it was worth the wait?? It really does look great!

It has been worth the anguish and hard work.

It still has a way to go yet - splashbacks around James, bread making worktop needs to be built, under unit lights, kick boards, cornice, fridge needs repairing and plumbing back in (the water pipe has split so it can't be plumbed in til Mick fixes that) and of course the floor but they are all minor things.

At least it's now useable, apart from the fridge??? Are you without a fridge or do you have a back up one?

Oh no the fridge is fine. It just isn't dispensing water or ice at the moment.
