I guess they grow up with it Ally, so are used to it! It would kill me too in the heat - I failed to persuade B to have her hair cut shorter before her trip - I did try lol - so made her pack a load of covered 'lacky bands to pull it back!

Gal I find chin length or just below with a layer (layers) that hit where my cheekbones ought to be the most flattering   Not too long these days, or it drags my face down somehow :?

I love your hair in your avatar Kaz. :D

The Spanish girls almost always have long hair and it's so thick. :P

Thanks Ally :) Becky's is long and wavy, and very thick 8-) Most young girls these days have long hair I think, all B's friends do!

I think you should give it a go Ally! If you don't like it then it'll grow and as you say, your hair grows quickly!

In the link that Di posted mine's looking a bit like 6 rows down (Winona Ryder with a tattoo?) and 6 across which brings you to a pic of, I think, Rihanna?

I am having mine cut on Tuesday. Just a trim before we go on our cruise. Have been going to the same barber for two years and it only costs me £5.00.
Like JoM has said, go for it. You will either love it or hate it. You look fabulous now but it is worth taking a gamble.

Sorry to have to ask but all help is gratefully received..just asked Don and he said he'd love me even if I shaved my head.

Love that!! When you think about it, although the fringe is very short it's not going to be such a difference to how you have it now when it's clipped to one side.

John told me to shave my head once, but that was when my hair was long and it needed to be straightened every time before I set foot out of the door. He got fed up of me taking ages to get ready and moaning about it into the bargain
It's nearly 4 years since I had mine cut short now!

Right..I've settled on this then! :D :D

I like the style of this as it's quite boyish which is what I want. :D

My hair is quite long again at the moment Jo..and I hate it.
