The Paralympics.

I cannot watch.

My brother was severely disabled both physically and mentally from birth and I find it ever so difficult to join in.

Do not get me wrong, I admire the athletes greatly. Their bravery and fortitude are outstanding, I just cannot share in what they do. Sorry.

Understandable WM.

We will be glued to the box watching for the next two weeks, it's such an inspiring event.

I'm sorry, I can't watch it either.
There again, I didn't watch the Olympics anyway - way too much hype for me.

I don't think there is much hype around the olympics. If you blinked you missed the TV coverage. The only thing I feel when I see people talk about the olympics is pride and joy, I'm good with that.

I feel exactly the same. We caught up with the opening ceremony yesterday, it was brilliant, pride and joy sums it up perfectly.
