Good morning Monday

Postby meriad » 09 Aug 2021, 07:41

Hello everyone and good morning - happy Monday. Hope you all had a good weekend?

Another dull and dreary and wet day here, apparently due to dry up and be sunnier as of Wednesday so fingers crossed. The poor chickens are thinking they should have been born ducks!

I was going to go into the office today, but was checking train times before I left (just as well) and realised they've got engineering works going on, so bus replacement services. So going in tomorrow instead.
I'll head to Sainsbury's in a bit to get a few bits and bobs, would have had to do this after work otherwise - so maybe all working out for the best :D

Not much else planned besides more pootling and working

Have a lovely day everyone and ongoing vibes for Ally and family x

Good morning meriad and anybody else who is up.

The plasterer is her. He arrived at 7.30 a.m as he said he would. Just gone to see his accountant while the plaster dries before he puts the final coat on.
Will wait a few days to dry before it is painted. Even now it looks much better.
There are lots of gre clouds but no rain yet.
When the tiler has gone will do some more tidying up.
Have still got some ironing to do.
Have a good day everybody

Morning all, it’s pretty miserable here. Edward has cancelled his golf but he might wrap up and go for a walk. I’m off to the gym in a while. In the meantime, usual h/worky stuff to be done. Michael will be here later, he is coming from Wicklow to play in the junior champs in his tennis club, and will come here afterwards while Miss Osc works in her office and collects him later. I slept badly last night and feel a bit sluggish today, but I’m sure the gym will sort me out

Good morning all.
A grey day here but at least it's not chucking it down so we take the positives.
Off to B&M and Aldi shortly then trying to get through to a doctor's secretary; a task so far which has proved to be on the same level as talking to lord Lucan.
Many vibes for Ally and family.
Have a lovely day all.

Afternoon all :D

Very changeable weather here again, one minute sunshine the next rain

Not sure what happened, but we didn't wake up until 10.40 this morning  what a lazy pair we are  It did feel a bit strange waking up to no Olympic news, it's been huge fun and excitement catching up every day. Not too long before the Paralympics, can't wait.

E's right foot has been causing him a problem since Friday, it's sore and quite swollen. Not sure how he did it, we popped into town on Thursday and he did his usual tripping on the cobbles so that's what probably caused it. Honestly it's just one thing after another, we're both old crocks these days. Expecting a delivery from Tesco this afternoon and that's about it.

Thinking of Ally and family xx

Hope you all have a good day xx
