Yes the blackbirds can be VERY noisy. We have a roof-mounted TV aeriel by the chimney, so when we get a blackbird on it whistling down the chimney, I have been know to go outside and whistle back. Usually, I get glared at (by the blackbird! :lol: )
The pigeons' eerie and soporific cooing can be quite a test as well.

A few days back we had a helicopter fly over, quite low, and it was banking as it did so. I was in the middle of the house at the time, and apart from the clattering row, the walls actually seemed to be shaking .... :shock:
