It's intermittent sunshine here, in between it completely hammering it down  We've been to Corretto's for a cuppa, and are currently round at D's. I've just renewed her driving licence online for her. We'll be going home shortly, bangers and mash for dinner later, just because we fancy it

Love to all :) xxx

Being so close to the sea we have a sea fret, it’s so strange you can see the mist swirling around. The sun is trying hard to break through and has for a short time but still the fret persists and we have rain forecast later. Nice temps though…. We drove along to Warkworth this morning (about 8-9 miles) and had a walk round the castle ruins then back for a lovely flat white and sandwich before coming back to the caravan. We’ve brought Lily dog with us, never brought her before as we always had Tip as well which is too much, but she’s quite enjoying being an “only” I think, we took her with us today and she didn’t have a clue how to behave in the coffee shop, just stood the whole time!!

Hope everyone is having a good day xx

I'm staying out of his way and have closed the windows. The swearing

Apparently, even though I bought it in a Portuguese shop, the lights are Chinese  and therefore the instructions bear no resemblance whatsoever to what has to be done

He's on the last one now.

 I tend to leave Mick to it, as well. He has a pathological mistrust of instructions

Afternoon all, it’s currently dry but a very heavy shower could happen at any minute and without any warning, that’s how it’s been today anyway.

We went to Stafford this morning and managed to get back to the car without getting wet. It started to rain just as we put our seat belts on. That was lucky seeing as we’d been seated outside Coffee #1 for half an hour. It’s dog friendly inside but the seating areas near the door where they prefer you to sit if you have your dog with you were taken up by people without dogs.

Joe was out watching the match with Ollie, John’s apprentice draughtsman, last night. They get on ever so well, Ollie’s a lovely lad. Funny how life goes. I went to school with his Uncle Glenn and his Mom was John’s girlfriend before me, she was in the year below me.

It was a bit of a reversal here, John was the one who watched the match and I watched a few episodes of Ugly Betty on Disney+. I can’t be doing with international football.

That sounds lovely Frank!

Enjoy the rest of the day all :D

Well the storms arrived, but we all had big 'brellas' so all was OK.

Kate and Andy are nice and should fit in well. No children and an old crap car; our sort of people. :D :D :D
