Good morning Saturday.

Postby Ally » 03 Jul 2021, 05:10

Good morning.

Oven hot forecast.

Busy day for me today.

A swim first then a coffee.

I have my fit to fly Covid 19 rapid antigen test at 10.20am. I suddenly thought last night if it's positive I'm screwed!!!
If it's not I'll wait for the certificate to add to all the other ones.

I'll walk into the policlinica for that and get a few bits for the BBQ from Mercadona on the way home.

Conor's coming over at lunchtime for said lunch BBQ.

Later we'll head to Quest for the England game. I'm not an England fan, Don and Conor always support Ireland first but they weren't in the tournament, Jacob's in Athens so he doesn't count  but we'll watch the lads and wish them the best. :cute:

Have a great day.

Oh...thanks for the good luck vibes for my B1 students yesterday. They all passed their speaking.
Today is reading, writing and listening. Any vibes flying around feel free to throw them over here.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Overcast this morning  and just a slight drizzle around

Spent most of my time this morning sorting sheep out  Buggers have broken through the fence and were wandering up our drive   Sorted the fence out, we thought, and then watched as one of them brazenly charged the fence again and got under it. Who said sheep are stupid, she knew the exact spot  It's now weighted down with stones until Grumpy can get back down there with rebar.

Cleaning and fence repairing it is then, this morning

Meeting Mitch for a couple of beers later. He's only driven a couple of times since his op's and is only going on the back roads, and then only short distances, until he gets his confidence back.

Best of luk to your students today Ally x And well done to them for yesterday :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two, morning all :)

Ally I'm sure the test will be fine, and more good luck vibes coming for your students {{{{{{x}}}}}

Jan, that's a rather clever sheep ;) Enjoy your beers with Mitch :) xx

It's been raining here, but the sun's coming out now - it's forecast for sunshine and showers all weekend. We played hookey from SW this morning, B was out last night until the early hours and has a bit of a thick head this morning, and I didn't take much persuading   Mick and I are currently having brekkie in Corretto's, we'll pick up B and the dogs later en route to D's  The food market is on here today, lots of tempting goodies, but I'd better not  ;)

Have a good Saturday everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Dull with bouts of drizzle

Well done to your students Ally, hope they do as well today.

E's still a bit stiff after the gardening on Thursday, but he's very good at doing his daily exercises so it's gradually easing. Not that we can do a lot outside in this weather so we'll have another lazy day.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Morning all...

Miss Erable is in town and she's bawling her eyes out and it is said that she will be sparking up and banging her drums later on.
(Rain, wind and thunderstorms for those who do not get it) :D

A day for staying in methinks. A bit like Saundra - TV rugby, footie, F1 qualifying and more footie. It's an exciting life in these parts.

Afternoon all, it’s a showery one here so we’ve had a lazy morning.

Tom’s gone to South Wales to see his Nan and Joe’s gone into Birmingham with his friend. He was supposed to be going to Cornwall with Amanda this weekend, she’s going for two weeks to do some uni work in preparation for her final year and to take advantage of the empty house she and her housemates are paying rent on, but he had to have a repair done on his car yesterday and doesn’t want to drive 300 miles (x2) in case of problems with the new partso her Dad’s taking her instead.

I’m not cooking tonight, we’re going to try Slim Chickens at the new designer outlet. They do a click and collect so we’ll do that.

Have a good day all :)

Afternoon all, it’s a fairly dreary day here, drizzle interspersed with actual rain. We were up and out early to head out to collect a couple of things from Argos - early birds and all that, when we were leaving the shopping centre it was getting pretty busy. Sport for the rest of the day in this house too, flicking between rugby and golf with football later. I will be mostly reading or crocheting.

Hi all were in Northumberland for a spell as it’s our main holidays, very glad to be able to get away from it all although this morning was extremely hectic trying to pack the car for potentially two weeks plus dog (and her food) and cat (and his, but to drop him off at Jens en route. Then we had a grocery shop to do when we got here and cut the grass before the rain came!! It’s bright but showery up to now, more forecast but hopefully we’ll get some better summer days also. No work for two weeks though!!! Freedom :D :D :) :D

Only got my phone with me (didn’t bring laptop) so probs won’t get to post much but I’ll be reading as much as I can 8-)

Enjoy the weekend whatever you’re up to xxx
