How lucky were we?

Drove into Ourique, stopped to get some cash out and then onto Mario's garage, to get oil. Just stopped and I said to Grumpy - we're steaming

And we were The bonnet was steaming

Opened it up and looked like of the water hoses had perished. Which I'm a little peeved about, as Gabi had the car only a few months ago and should have noticed it.

However, they've kept the car and will order the hose. Not sure how long it will be, but we won't be doing the Algarve tomorrow But they'll top us up with oil too

Rang Chris and she very kindly picked us up - they were just finishing shopping in Pingo, so that was handy.

As Grumpy said, if that had happened as were were driving down the IC1, heaven knows what would have happened.
