Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 05 May 2021, 05:05

Good morning.

Hot! And sunny. 8-)

Well...the day is here. Second anniversary of mum passing away and I can honestly say the pain is as acute as ever.

I'm going for a run after typing this. A good 10km pavement pounder should help clear my head. :?

Anyway....Don has said whatever I fancy doing we can. So I'll get ready and think we'll go to Paloma Park. There's a huge market there and a lovely little place to eat.
It was one of mum's favourite's. We had many, many happy visits there together and I think she'd like that I was carrying on our love of 'mooching' and book hunting.

GB Menu & GB Sewing Bee tonight. Perfect. And Don's cooking dinner.

Have a good day everyone. xx

Morning Ali - thinking about you today xxx

I have two rare days off and I was up bright and early to drop Lucy at work and then sat outside Sainsburys waiting for it to open at 7am!!!

Today I am going to be cooking up a storm. I like to keep loads of pre cooked meals in the freezer and at the weekend realised that we were out. So today I am making big portions of beef ragu, mousakka, chicken balti, coq au vin and lasagne parcels to fill the freezer back up. Fortunately we have three freezers (one in the shed which we keep meat and bread in, a fridge freezer in the kitchen which has normal freezer stuff in like chips, etc and an under counter freezer in the pantry which is usually full of pre cooked meals.

So, wish me luck - I'm going in.

Morning Ally, Debih and everyone

Bit blowy this morning, so will feel a little cooler. Must re-name our monte as windy ridge

Huge hug for today Ally xx

Off to the dentist later and I really hope he can sort this blasted tooth out The crown came off too :cute:

Then we'll do the shopping, sort out Grumpy's phone, I hope. I don't know why/how he has so much trouble. This is his third one  Do the shopping and pit stop for coffee and post checking.

Back to do not a lot I'll let him have a day off. He was so cream crackered yesterday, he had a kip for an hour and a half :o

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Thinking of you today Al xx

Morning, it’s sunny and cool here.

We’ve walked Bill, Tom’s gone to work and Joe’s in college today.

We’re going shopping today. I want to go to Hobbycraft and I’ll look in Boots next door to it for some cologne for Joe for his birthday, then we’re in need of some bags of compost so we’ll head somewhere for that.

Have a good day all :)

How could I forget? Mitchell is going in for prostrate surgery today and has been warned that he might not come out of the anesthetic  When I spoke to him yesterday, he was worried sick but also determined to go through with it.

Good afternoon all.
(((Ally))). They say that time heals. I don't know about that; maybe you learn to cope with the pain better over time though.
Vibes for Mitchell too.
It's been a sunny, lovely morning but just starting to cloud up a little. We have been to B&M and are back having a coffee now.
I've bought one of those little electric tyre inflators off Amazon for about £30. A low pressure warning light has come up on the dash, so I'll blow the tyre up this afternoon.
Apart from that not too much.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all :D

One minute sunny the next cloudy, think rain's forecast for later today.

(((Ally))) xx
Hope the dentist appointment goes well Jan. Sending Mitchell best wishes.

Still a bit sore when I woke up so won't be doing too much today, E will have his walks round the close again.

Hope you all stay safe, stay safe xx
