Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 13 Apr 2021, 05:33

Good morning.

Set to be nice again. 8-)

I'm not saying I was lazy over the weekend...but apart from walking and swimming I did nothing but read. :o Last night I started my fourth book and realised I hadn't popped in here to post. :o

Usual 2 classes this morning then meeting my friend for brunch.

Work 4 - 7 then home to a 'Thai special' according to my in-house masterchef.

Have a good day.

Morning you two, morning everyone

A glorious sunny (but cold) morning here - what a difference waking up to blue skies vs the grey skies and snow yesterday morning :D
Ally, sometimes lazy days like that are much needed ;-)
Jan, enjoy your day of doing not a lot :D

I ended up not leaving the house yesterday; so have a few things I need to get done today - in between work that is. So about to get myself ready and get going

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all, it’s sunny but quite cool here.

We’ve just walked Bill for an hour and I think would’ve still been walking if he’d got his own way, and if we hadn’t had to get back for John to start working of course

The washing machine’s on and I’ll get the hoover out once Tom’s awake.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all, I’m another one who didn’t post yesterday  It’s a lovely day here, and the temperature has crept up to 8 degrees, so hopefully a walk will be in the schedule. I was waiting for a UPS delivery which arrived about an hour ago, new runners from ASICS, very nice they are too. There is something happening locally, coastguard car, police cars, fire brigade and ambulance have gone by with sirens blaring and now the ambulance is waiting by the lifeboat station as the lifeboat went out too. Edward is waiting for a phone call from the dentist but he can take that if we are out. I also want to get a start on the ironing as we actually have things happening this week

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

After the rain yesterday morning the sun came out and it was a lovely afternoon so we managed to get our walk along the cliff top after all. More of the same today. E's walking further every couple of days which is brilliant. He's managing well with one crutch around the bungalow and did a small stretch on our walk yesterday, it won't be too long before he only needs one all the time. Me not so good, the further we walk the more my ankle plays up so I've had to start using my walking stick, needs must and all that.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all :)

It sounds like we all have sunshine - agreeing that it makes a huge difference :D

I walked up to Morrisons, then up to D's, where I am at the moment. I have a rather sore hip at the moment. I knew years ago that I have arthritis in one hip, as well as my neck, but until recently it hasn't given me any trouble. Recently it's been waking me at night, and twinging during the day  I did 16 000 + steps yesterday, so probably overdid it a bit. I just hope it doesn't interfere with my walking too much :? I should be doing Zumba tonight, but I'll see 8-)

Take care everyone, enjoy the sunshine :) xxx

Kaz, I have one of those knee pillows and if my hip wakes me during the night, I pop it in place and it really does help.
