Printed concrete

Does anyone know if this can be a bit slippy? We need to have our drive redone and it's on a bit of a slope, so it would be nice to know before rather than find out after, IYSWIM.
PS We've been quoted £2,000 for tarmac - it's not a big drive but it needs totally digging up and relaying.

We have this Cromwell and it certainly isn't slippey when wet, just when icy, but then what isn't? We had ours done about 17 years ago and have been really pleased with it

People that I know who have had this type done have regretted it. We had ours done in herring-bone brick and are very happy with it. It was a bit more expensive, but well worth it.

My mum has the block, it looked lovely for about 3 years, then the weeds started poking through, slowly but surely. Only problem with the concrete is the discolouring after a while, but a tiny bit of bleach and power wash stops that in it's tracks though.

Our brick drive has been down for almost two years now. You have to treat it annually, and power wash it from time to time, but it looks quite beautiful at the moment. I am so glad we opted for this, it looks so much better than the printed concrete.

I once had a herringbone redbrick drive - you do need to power wash and treat occasionally for weeds but I agree, it looks lovely

We had a brick paved drive at our old house and it did look lovely but it was so slippery, the slightest bit of frost made it lethal. The whole of the pedestrianised area in the town centre is paved too and that's exactly the same, and every bus stop in the area is marked by the footpath being paved and on frosty days one minute you're walking along normally and then you come to a bus stop and you struggle to stay on your feet.
