Good morning.

Warm and sunny. 8-)

Back to work with my usual two hours this morning.

Meeting a friend for coffee and pitufo brunch.

Classes 4 - 7.

It's our 31st wedding anniversary today so I'm meeting Don when I finish and we're going to our little Italian restaurant. :D

Have a good day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning, but chilly at the moment.

Happy Anniversary to you both :Hi: :Hi:

I'll be cutting up another sheet this morning and covering one of the outside cushions, as long as my fingers are okay. Sewing by hand is hard on the fingers, with thick cotton

Having the roast black pork we were supposed to have on Sunday, tonight. Will be having a rather pleasant red wine to go with it. As an aside, I looked up one of the wines we've been given, as I was told that it is "quite a good one". A 1996 Rioja. Worth a few bob, so we'll keep it for a while yet.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Al, I just started a post for your anniversary :) Have a lovely meal out tonight :Hi:

That does sound hard work Jan, do you know anyone with a sewing machine? xxx

It's a cold day today Saundra, stay warm (((x)))

Had a really pleasant couple of hours last evening, on Zoom with with sister Julie, niece Hannah and partner Armand, nephew Phillip and his housemate Don, doing a quiz that Hannah put together :D We let her set them as she's professional and puts together the screenshots and music etc really well  We didn't win, but hey  It was so nice to actually see them all, especially Julie as we lingered afterwards and spoke about my dad - it would have been his 81st birthday yesterday. A few tears from me - sad/happy ones :)

It's really cold here, but very bright, so I'll just wrap up well for what is becoming my regular Tuesday walk up to Morrison's before I go to D's 8-) Must do Zumba tonight, as I skipped it last night for the quiz.

Take care everyone :) xxx

Morning all, it’s bitterly cold, frosty and windy but sunny.

We walked Bill, he’s happy because one of his favourite paths has dried up. It’s a long and narrow winding path and is quite steep in places and gets very muddy so isn’t usually walkable from around Oct until May but it’s fine at the moment. Once we got back I got changed and went for a run, making the most of the school holidays with no large groups of mothers lingering and blocking the pavements.

(((Kaz))) hopefully you and Julie will be able to get together before too long x

Have a good day all :)

Morning all.
Cold here with blue skies.
In a while we'll get a paper. This evening we are going to our daughter's for tea, bless her.

Morning all........almost

We've had a busy morning. The door bell went while we were still in bed, it was the district nurse to check E's wound. Glad she was early because she said no more dressing needed and he could have a shower. You can imagine how pleased he was. He still needs the stool and help with drying below the knees, but he said having a hair wash for the first time in 3 weeks was bliss. Halfway through that the door went again, it was my parcel from Boots. I thought good now I can shower without interruptions. Err no, had just stripped off and was walking in when the door went again, quick dash to throw my kaftan back on only to find it was another district nurse. Thought it must be a mistake, but no, she'd been asked my our GP to do E's bloods. It was 11.30 before I was able to actually have my shower!!

We're both nice and clean now, but running extra late so I think our walk will have to wait till this afternoon. We did get to the cliff top yesterday, sunny when we left here, snowing half way through the walk. Hoping it's a bit warmer today.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, it was lovely and sunny earlier, but when we went for a walk the wind was bitterly cold. There’s just been a shower of rain, all over the towels I have on the line. But I think they will get fairly dry in the strong wind. I did the ironing up to date yesterday, and cleaned one bathroom, so I might do the other one this afternoon....or I might not ;) I could crochet, or read :D

Blimey Jen, you're popular!
Bitterly cold here too Osc and now it is snowing again; it's that dry snow, like little polystyrene balls.

Crommers, we’ve just had that snow too (it’s forecast heavy for tonight), me and Bill got caught in a hail shower before lunch and now we’re back to sunshine.
