Morning Ally and everyone.

Grey but mild here.

Another graveyard walk at some time and a Zoom with Becky re her GCSE when she is home.

Got a chorizo and chicken thing on the go for later (thanks Jan) but apart from that it is the same old, same old. Bed to change, bathroom and toilet to clean, that sort of thing.

An exciting life.

Morning Ally, WM and everyone

grey start again, but will warm up again later.

Just watching some smoke in the field, just the other side of the track. it's Maria's land and she's pretty good at keeping track of her fires - normally ;)

Off to Ourique early, as Grumpy needs some things to carry on strimming. Petrol helps  He ran out the other day, halfway through one side of the garden, so needs to finish it off.

Back for breakfast. He'll carry on strimming, I'll do the washing (well, the machine will) and then it's sit outside, topping the tan up again

Hope your chicken and chorizo works out WM. Ours was okay, just needs tweaking, which is why I haven't posted the recipe yet.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Just checked the weather forecasts and one is saying rain for us  :Hi:

But we'll still go in and get the stuff.

And there's been a car accident in our village - somewhere  Probably at one of the crossroads.

Smoke still going strong :?

Morning all

I'm now on annual leave for two weeks :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: - but then given I can't really hand over my job I'll still be working; but only checking emails 3x a day and have put my out of office on with a phone number for people to call me if anything is needed urgently.

Off to Wisley Gardens this morning to have a walk around with a friend.. I was going to have a bit of a lazy morning but ended up having to give a friend a lift to work. She's been struggling to find work and found a job that requires transport so on Saturday she bought a 125cc Scooter/ bike thing. Yesterday she was going to practice the routes to the two surgeries she'll be working at (she's a dental nurse) only to find that the bike wouldn't start - something to do with the fuel injection. So she's trying to get hold of the dealer today; just not ideal as it's her first day at her new job and she can't well be on the phone all morning to sort the bike. Just hope she does get it sorted because I really don't want to have to give her a lift every morning because it's totally out the way for me and will take a good hour or more. She'd usually Uber Taxi it but funds are tight .... sigh

Oh well, best get a few things done and then head on out :D
Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s mild but very breezy.

Bill’s had a very long walk and I’ll take him again shortly, I need to go to the cemetery to take the Mothers Day flowers off my Nan’s grave so we can walk through the woods to get there. I have to go to the post office first though.

Have a good day all :D

Got the stuff we wanted, Grumpy now happily strimming :D

The sun came out, it was lovely and warm, but now it's clouded over again

Looking from our gates up to the new car port next door, looks like aliens have just dropped off a weird structure  It's really odd the way he's done it. You could get a double decker bus under it

We had planned on a bbq later, but I'm going to make a pork and butternut squash stuff, just in case ;)

Good morning. Mild, sunny and breezy here too.
I hope your friend's scooter gets sorted soon Ria.
Yes Kaz, sometimes the adrenalin is so overwhelming I don't know how I withstand the excitement!
Hope the Apaches cease with the smoke signals soon Jan.
In a while I will do a cottage pie for tonight. Apart from that it's NALGO - not a lot going on. :)
Have a good day all.
