Ours are full to bursting and I have to make room soon as the broad beans are growing at a rather quick pace.

We've only got a single fridge/freezer which is 50/50 in size, so the freezer is pretty much always full to the rafters and we have to be a bit careful what we stock it up with.
Did a mega shop at the butchers last week (and a revisit today as they didn't have any chicken last Friday) so now we have enough frozen pork, beef, lamb and chicken to last around 8 weeks or so.

The freezer is OK but I was doing 'one for now and one for the cupboard' shops for quite a while. I am now at the point of needing to go through my 'reserves' of tinned this and that. It could be a cheap month.... or two. :P :P

I really should do a stock take of everything that is in the freezers (and yes - that is plural!   ) and do some menu planning around it all. One of them was bought for allotment produce and has ended up with all sorts of other stuff as well as the gazillions of beans I froze (and most yet to be eaten)

We're in the same boat Ria. I cooked so much, thinking I would be in hospital soon and then nothing has been done. We have soups galore, leftovers from favas, curries, and other stuff, so we'll be using some this week and some next.

As the daft bugger put in over 150 broad beans as well as about 20 pea plants, it'll be coming out of our ears, as t'were

And that is me with my tins of soups, curries, chillies, salmon, ham.... I have to start to get rid.

I have used the freezer as normal because I was concerned about power cuts and the possibility of losing loads of meals.

I’ve not got so much in the freezer since John’s been working from home. He’d always take pasta or something with rice into work for his lunch so there were always a load of containers of those in there which were either batch cooked or leftovers.
