I've just checked the weather for the rest of the month and also for next month.

Apart from a couple of weeks, we're in single figures at night

Think I need to move

As of tomorrow bars, restaurants etc can now stay open till 10.30pm as opposed to 9.30.

Fingers crossed this route to normality continues.

In the same period we are heading for mid teens during the day and high single figures - 7, 8, 9 - during the evenings and nights, but also with some light rain, sprinkles, on most days.

There have been a couple of days lately when I have not had the heating on! :D :D :D

Talking of the heating, John showed Joe how to switch ours on...HUGE mistake. He’s had it up to an unbearable 25° at times

25????? crikey!!!!!

I've got mine at 18 as standard and then up it by one or two when needed, but don't think I've ever had the need to go over 20. I'd get Joe to pay some of the gas bill, that'll soon give him a touch of reality

We're normally between 18 and 20 during the winter. Even down to 16 when it's really cold.

I really couldn't cope with 25 inside.

perhaps he would like to help with the bill?

Joe should go live with my sister - she's also a 25er.

We would go round at Christmas and it was like walking into a sauna. There were 12 to 14, so enough body heat to keep the place warm, but no, 25 it was!

I used to turn it down to 18 but every time she left the living room she checked the thermo and up it would go to 25. Me - down to 18. Her - up to 25. It was almost a party game.

We have ours on 19, that suits us. We all wear layers indoors anyway :)
