The car's going for an MOT and service this morning, after all Minnie's vet bills we could do without any nasty surprises. Handily though, Bb has some work near the garage although it's a shame he'll be getting wetter without the car.

Pootling and stuff for me too I think, then cricket later this afternoon. Ooh and the sewing programme tonight

Pootling for us, I will walk down to the village for bits and bobs. And our tomato plants (from seeds) are popping up to say hello

Yes that might well be a worry, me and chemistry never got on terribly well.......This involves a phial of red liquid, saucers and most worryingly a saucepan!!!! Mick had the red liquid as my ex gave it to him on Friday, just before H conveniently forgot the paperwork with it I'll report on it later if the house is still standing

Good morning all. It's very dull here, cold and windy too Going to an afternoon dance, then to call into a "wake" for the mother of a friend, they are having an "open house" instead of removing her to the church this evening. We will just call in and pay our respects. I need to move away from this laptop and get on with stuff, we are going away on Friday morning and I have very little done with regard to clothes and packing and a very full few days ahead. Oh well, I suppose it will all get done in the end. Have a good day everyone

Afternoon all. Its a lovely day here but bitterly cold and still blowing a gale. The wind doesn't seem to have dropped for well over a week now.

My peace is due to be shattered later on as my girlies are coming home. I've really missed them. It's been odd to not even speak to them since Saturday morning, although S did FB message me last night to say they were having a lovely time. Not sure what time they are due back - not until this evening from what I can gather as I don't think they were intending on setting off until at least 4pm.

We have to clear out the kitchen this evening so the stone man can get in tomorrow. I am trying not to think about the mess it is going to create - thank god I didn't clean the dining room last weekend as I planned to! He said it "won't be so much dust as grit!".
