We’ve just had the most beautiful takeaway from a local independent restaurant. It’s just the two of us as Tom’s gone up to Manchester to meet Shannon for a nosey around the museum she’ll be working at and Joe’s taken Amanda back to Falmouth and I’m so fed up of cooking

I had jerk chicken with rice and peas and a fried dumpling. John had butterfly chicken with skin on fries and salad. Both came with homemade coleslaw and John had some of my rice because the portions were huge. £20 for both and it was delivered half an hour after ordering.

Really must try the restaurant when we’re able to.
