May she rest in peace. She was a remarkable lady and whether you agreed with her or not it can't be denied she was a politician of conviction, something I greatly admired.

As for all the nasty comments, how sad that so many people are lacking in basic humanity and good taste. I've just listened to Ken Livingstone being interviewed and was disgusted that he could be so mean minded at this time. Okay say what you like in private or amongst friends, but not now in public when there's a family grieving the loss of a mother and grandmother.

There's a lot to be said for the maxim, if you have nothing good to say about the dead, say nothing.

she was a stronge lady Pm who does not deserve to be remembered with disrespect
and people need to remember she put thousands on the property ladder
letting them buy there council house i wish we had brought ours
but we didnt
so sorry she went so frail and cofussed in the public eye
wont bother to read the comments in the DM or facebook

Not seen any nasty comments on FB, but I do think some people are just downright heartless and nasty :(
