Morning Ally, morning everyone

Wet. And not so warm.

Off to Aljustrel in about half an hour, as I have a 24 hour heart monitor thingy appointment. We need to give ourselves a bit ore time, as the police, apparently, are out in force and stopping a lot of cars, asking where you're going, why, is it important tc. I have copies of the e-mail for the appointment, so that should be enough.

Back to do not a lot, if it's still raining, We managed to clear all the paths yesterday, so they look good, The garden needs a good strim and the flower beds are in dire need of weeding, Done a few, but the blasted weeds are beating me at the moment.

Haven't watched that cooking programme Ally, a couple of people on there irritate me, Claudia wotserface for one :cute:

Leftover chicken again tonight, will do roast taters and veg to go with it :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning early risers and you later comers.

Massive thaw under way around here. I expect there will be flood warnings to come because of it.

I have got quite hooked on this 'clearing out of the unneeded things' lark. I have a few piles of things to go "somewhere" once the roads are clear - bedding, pots and pans and other kitchen stuff, electrical bits and pieces and so on. The better stuff will go to charity shops and the dross to the tip once it is opened.

Have a good day and stay fit and warm.

Morning all. Cold, wet and miserable weather here.
Good luck at the hospital Jan. That tagliatelle sounds marvelous Ally - we're having baked potatoes tonight!
Keep on with the sorting WM and I hope the aches go away soon Saundra.
In a while we'll go out for a paper and some eggs and that will be the only thing going on today.
Have a good one everybody.

Good morning all, I’m proper creeping around this morning.
Tom’s teaching in the kitchen, John’s working in the office on the middle floor and Joe’s got video college in his bedroom on the top floor

I’m waiting for the Tesco delivery which is due within the hour. I’ve just hung some washing out to dry.

Saundra, I hope you’re soon feeling less achy xx

Have a good day all :)

Morning all, it’s a brighter day here. There’s a wash in the machine, the usual tidying up has been done and Edward is making lasagne for dinner. No doubt we’ll go for a walk, otherwise there is nothing planned.

Hello all

Ally, I love those two programmes; well I stumbled on the celeb home cook one last night by accident and did have a good giggle. But don't quite get why Karim wasn't sent home yesterday - he's dire!
Jan, glad you got to your appointment and back home OK and weren't stopped
Frank ; I really need to do a good clear out as well but most of what I've got will go to a charity shop and who knows when they'll open and even if they'll take stuff. Just before this lockdown started I asked the only local shop we have and they've got too much stuff already and weren't really taking more. Think I may end up doing a few car boot sales instead
Saundra, hope you feel better soon
Crommers, Jo and Osc - hope you all have a good day

Usual work day for me. My brother is here at the moment fixing a shelving thing in the bathroom. It's only meant to be a temporary fix but he never does things by half so what he's doing is way OTT really but hey - he's happy :)
I had a rather rotten night with an upset tummy. Must have eaten something odd yesterday. Drinking loads of fennel tea and had some ryvita so far and it seems OK. Just as well because at one point this morning I was seriously worried it may be norovirus (just not sure where I'd have picked that up from though).

I went into London to the office yesterday - drove there to avoid public transport and I was the only one in the office. It's heartbreaking to see the city so quiet - the usual buzz that makes it is missing and it's quite sad really

Rubbish weather today so once Karl is finished I may have a quick snooze on the sofa - work is quiet enough and I can have the phones next to me

Have a lovely day all, stay warm / dry / safe xx

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here

Glad you got there and back without any trouble Jan.
Hope you feel better soon Saundra x

Nothing exciting happening here, expecting Boots to deliver my prescription and it's put the bins out day, keeping fingers crossed it stops raining this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx
