Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another cloudy morning and will probably stay that way, but it's mild 8-)

Ironing this morning and then if it doesn't rain, I'll head outside and cut back more of the frost damaged plants. Pull a couple up too

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning twinies and everyone.

I has snowed overnight, about 10cm (4 inch), and is now trying for a bit more so going out for a drive is off. :o

Not a thing planned, nothing. It could be a Netflix binge or a good reading day. Mind you I have some chicken breasts to turn into something - I am thinking hot strips in a sweet chilli sauce; we'll see.

Stay safe and warm you all.

Good morning all.
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire - more snow. :o
As with WM. Absolutely no traffic around at all and no dog walkers either. Oops, the snow plough / gritter just went past. It appears to be melting a little already so hopefully it will all be gone by tomorrow. The M62 was down to one lane in one direction - how is this possible? The snow was predicted, it arrived and it's instant chaos.
Proud dad moment - my son Eddie was on his way to the shop this morning when he saw an old gentleman bent double outside the row of shops. Turned out he was 88 years old, an ex-miner with bad lungs who was on his way to a Doctor's appointment. So Eddie walked him to the Docs. As an aside the old lad's name was Edwin and they both share the same surname!
Another one here with nothing planned. I may read and I'm definitely making a loaf today.
Have a good and hopefully warm day all.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here

I'm puzzled, what's summer in winter chicken Ally?
Sensible to stay off the roads WM.
Well done to your son Crommers, we could all do with more people like him around.

Another groundhog day for me, nothing exciting happening.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, it’s sunny now after a drizzly start and it’s very mild.

Not much happening here, I’m creeping quietly around again. The amount of tea and coffee supplied has reduced now that Tom’s back because he’s set up in the kitchen (and the downstairs living room and the office) and the kettle doesn’t boil quietly.

Saundra, I hope the arm ache reduces soon. I’ve just emailed the doctors again about mine, it seems that all GP practices in the local group are booking in group 4 apart from ours and they’ve booked Wednesday and Saturday this week and then it’s a matter of waiting for more vaccines. Think I might just bypass them and book into the main one in Birmingham. Be an ride out for a change

Have a good day all xx

Afternoon all :)

Another Groundhog Day here, up to see D for lunchtime, then home again. Becky's in a mood because work was stressy, but she's taken the dogs out so hopefully that will blow a few cobwebs away :cute:  No snow here, in fact it's quite springlike!

22° sounds perfect Ally! :D  xxx

Hope it didn't rain then Jan :) xx

4 inches of snow Frank?! Wow, definitely an indoors day xx

Crommers, well done to your Eddie! That's a coincidence, about the names! xxx

Hi Jen :) xxx

Saundra, I'm so glad you've had your jab! D had a slightly sore arm, but it soon wore off. Hopefully yours will too (((x)))

Jo, it does sound like you'd be better off at the bigger hub  Amazing what passes for a day out these days, eh? ;) xx

Love to all :) xxx

No rain Kaz, although it threatened a couple of times. We spent all day outsider, weeding the paths :Hi: :Hi:

Cut back a couple of plants and Grumpy pulled up the begonia, that died too

Still outside, but in the inside, as t'were.

Leftover chicken tonight, which I'll do with a mushroom sauce and tagliatelle, then a reasonable early night, as awe have to leave here by 8.30 tomorrow morning.

Hope you're feeling okay Saundra xx

Evening all, that day went by! We went over to Miss Osc’s this morning to take Michael and Kellie for a walk because there was (more  ) rain forecast for the afternoon. Then we had a cuppa and a walk around the house to see how they are getting on, it’s shaping up nicely. We had a late lunch when we got back, including some very filling soup that I made yesterday, so we’ve just had scrambled eggs on toast instead of dinner. I will admit to a little snooze in the chair during the afternoon  Telly and knitting for the evening.
