Jo, I am just back from Home Bargains and the number of light-up outside decorations - snowmen, Santa, sleighs - as well as strings of lights I could get for £300 is phenomenal!

Anyone who can handle a screwdriver could knock up a perfectly safe 13 amp circuit board to run them off in a few minutes, and for only a few quid.

I'm with Ally, go tell her to do one.
