Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another one here with a lovely, warm day 8-)

Off to Ourique later, need to get a washing line that doesn't stretch   and then the dreaded Pingo run. Will brave the dentists too. I'm another one with problems with root canal gone wrong  :cute:

Back to get the washing line up and the washing machine will be working overtime

Decided on a bbq tonight and I've rooted out some ribs, but will do those in the oven and we'll have pork steaks and sausages on the bbq :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Shame about your haircut Saundra :( Casserole is perfect for this weather though 8-) :) xxx

It's raining here, again :cute:  There's a break in it forecast shortly, so I'll wait until then to go out 8-) I've got a wash in, and have had a bit of a sort out of mine and Mick's clothes - filled a black bag   Oh the rain is stopping, so that's my cue ;)

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Good luck at the dentist Jan.

I've popped a casserole in the slow cooker too Saundra. My haircut was due week, doubt it will get done before Christmas now.

Expecting a couple of things from Amazon sometime today. One is a waterproof sturdy Christmas tree storage bag. There's no chance E will be getting up in the loft anytime soon so the tree plus all the decs will have to be stored out in the garage in the new year. Thank goodness he got it all down before he went into hospital. Right now it's all piled high in the spare bedroom, but it definitely can't stay there indefinitely. Nothing else planned.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon all, it’s a dull and very windy day here with the occasional drizzle.

I’ve walked Bill twice, done the ironing, another load of washing is drying and the Tesco delivery has been.

My hair cut is due on the 5th. Who knows if it’ll happen and there’ll be no chance of another appointment before Christmas if it doesn’t so I’m fully prepared to let John loose with my hairdressing scissors. I need 4 or 5” cutting off, I’m fed up of it being long and messy all of the time.

Have a good day all :D

Good afternoon everybody.

It has started raining again.
Had a phone call yestreday afternoon asking could I go to the eye clinic at 9.00 a.m this morning. This was because the optician who I had seen
in the morning said I had high pressure in my left eye.
So This morning I walked down to the clinic. After an initial test with a nurse to read letters of a chart-got to third line from the bottom, I was seen by
a consultant.
A young lady consultant looked into both eyes using special equipment. Also put drops in and took more readings. Did not rush the examination.
She finally said I had high pressure in both eyes. Gave me a prescription and I now have to put drops in both eyes in the morning and evening.
Also have to take tablets after meals. Have an appointment to see her again next Tuesday to see if the drops and tablets are reducing the pressure.
It is the start of glaucoma.
Am still able to read and type.
Have a good day everybody.

My father in law had that Cruiser and he was fine for years. As you say, just drops in the eyes.

Feet are sore now  The ribs are marinading, the bourginon is cooking and the curry is cooked. The veg and spuds are done for the bbq later and I've washed up.

Grumpy has been sent down to the veggie plot, as he would stand in my light and he's got a sore head from - again - walking into the low door on the wood store

It's been windy but not cold today....threat of rain so I didn't go out, yesterday I did some painting (!!) satin gloss on the windowsill and the rad in the living room, started doing the skirting board as well but then I ran out of time so I intended finishing that today, and instead I have taken all the covers off my sofa to wash and dry! Just waiting for the last one to dry then it will be back to normal.

Other than that, just reading my ebook and doing a crossword puzzle. Love it! :)

I don't think I posted yesterday to mention I had been to visit my sister - well we walked to the local park to sit on a windy bench and have a flask of coffee and a chat! At least we got to see each other....and then she text to tell me our brother had rang her for a chat as well! They (he and his wife) aren't given to phoning for a chat so that was a bit of a big occasion! 8-)

It would've been my lovely dad's birthday today.....108!!! Miss you loads Dad xx
