I’ve just taken Bill for his afternoon walk and you’d be forgiven for thinking it was a school holiday if you saw the number of children out on walks with parents.

Obviously home from school to self-isolate :|

Been out to the local One-Stop shop just now Jo - no children around, but there are a lot more people and cars out and about than ever there was during the first lockdown ....

The roads are actually pretty quiet around here Ossie, I ran a 100 yards along the A34 at 9.15 this morning to get around a gaggle of school mothers and some dog walkers

I don't have much of a problem with children who are sent home going for walks with their parents, like the Italian family with their two girls down the road. I do, however, have a problem with the groups of pre teens and young teens congregating and larking about by the Co-op and One Stop at all times of the day.

I asked Jane at One Stop and she said that there is nothing to be done from the shop's POV... it's a public space and when reported the police are simply not interested.

That's because there are more people working during this lockdown than the last :? Me for one. I honestly don't feel any different to just before this lockdown....the only thing is you can't go for a coffee (unless it's a takeaway) which is one of my simple pleasures....
